You're going into 9th grade, so it may seem like a big deal to get back into that group. Honestly, it's not as big of a deal as you think.
You're going into HIGH SCHOOL. The cliques you knew in middle school? Most of them may even cease to exist. why?
In middle school, you were in the "popular" clique. The middle school soceity was separated into them. You have the jocks, preps, scene kids, outcasts, band geeks, populars, and etc. You just have that tight circle of friends within your clique.
In high school, things will change bro. The idea of "cliques" may even cease to exist. Now, I don't know what your high school is like, but chances are you won't even see your old clique-mates as often as you have seen them in middle school. As you enter your classes for the first time, you will see many many unfamiliar faces. These faces will be a crowd of sophomores, juniors, seniors, and other freshman you may not know. So, even if you were still in that popular middle school clique, it may not even mean anything once you're in high school.
So bottom line man. Don't fret. Go into high school confident in yourself and you'll make lots of friends. You'll find your little niche in the massive seas of students. Your old middle school cliques won't matter. There will be a sea of new people and new opportunities for you. Good luck.
Watchin yo back.
