When I read B.S. like that last post on Pook's Mill, I ask myself the exact same question.

Ever since Pook entered into the whole "I hate feminism" phase of his life, I can't help but wonder if he has become sexually inactive. Anyone with that much hate for a female movement is bound to become bitter toward women.

Yes, feminism has fvcked up a lot of things in society, but most women are NOT feminists. A masculine man will cause a woman to be more feminine, and a feminine woman is a beautiful woman.

We may not be able to single-handedly reverse what feminism has done to society, but we can find enjoyment in the beauty of a woman.

I always wonder where people see hate and bitterness in pooks posts. Yes, they tend to be very rethorical and deep but I can't see hate. He said that it's an anti-feminism block but he never said all women are feminists or anythuing like this. In fact, in one of his recent posts ( Purpose of life is to win, not to survive) he talk about the DJ seeing getting women as fun and exciting. I can't see how that is negative, DJ=pooks mindset so HE sees getting women as fun and exciting. He once said that sometimes it can become to much and take too much of his time but other than that I think he is still sexual active.

Uh, lately Pook hasn't been hating on women. He's going the other way in fact. You need to read his latest.

Pook never turned hateful towards women.

Just critical of the destructive effects of a women's movement that in addition to doing a lot of good may of quite possibly done a lot more bad.

He evolved in his thinking.

He gave us the positive care free message on Sosuave and now he has moved on to deeper subjects.

Wanting him to return to Sosuave form is wanting him to live in the past rather than where he is at and moving forward to now.

The poster who said that sometimes people here and elsewhere get the crabs in the barrel mentality and try to pull others down was correct.

Fortunately that mentality will never be mine.

Keep moving forward and evolving Pookster.

I am in no ways bringing Pook down, whatever floats your boat. But if you want inspirational writing, you can go into your local book store, or search all over the internet, it is everywhere, people have been simply writing about it for thousands of years.

Or you can just look around you and see people who are so successful and happy, they don't need to write about it, they lead by example.

I take nothing from such rhetoric, I look at those doing what they love and with a smile on their face, who are kind to everybody and open in their advice, and respect them. A guy who hides behind fancy words and gives advice without prooving a thing, is just another run of the 'mill', 'artist' IMHO.

Nevertheless, his writing is well respected amongst the sosuave community and seems to have hit home for quiet a few, so good on him in that aspect!

I guess its cool if you want to preserve Pook's memory and image or whatever.... but "Just live in the talent"?

EDIT: I mean to say with this inspirational stuff it gets to a point where nobody knows what the author is exactly talking about anymore but nobody cares because he is "inspired" "enlightened" and hey, inspirational messages are ALWAYS good, de facto and de jure. (I actually dont know what the second expressions means lol).

An inspirational message has to be targeted to its audience like any other peice of writing. You can excuse Pook on the basis that he's on a higher level than someone like myself, but then who is this spiritual elite that is reading Pook's work and finding truth in the mantra "Live in the talent?"

So I guess I just have to accept that Pook is over my head, and that the reason his writing makes no sense to me anymore is because I havent reached his level. Well, if that were the case he could be a little more cryptic and esoteric rather than speaking in tones which seem open to be understood by everyman. Because he still writes like an inspiration for the man in the street except it doesnt make sense anymore. Live in the talent? Sex and man's striving form an ellipse?

I dunno, for me it's not really hard to understand. It's about using your sexual energy to accomplish greatness. It's not a new theory. It's more about accepting that reality of yourself instead of using your sexual energy for merely pleasure alone. I think it's a good observation on human nature that a lot of modern men miss.

So true, when I am sexually pumped I usually have a lot of ideas on a new music song I could make or something I could write or on science.
