All my friends are such douchebags.
I like this girl Laura, who's best friends with Jessica. My friend Alejandro tells me that Jessica wants to know when I'm going to ask out Laura, and I'm not supposed to know Jessica wants to know this. I don't believe him, because he could be lying. Also because I've never got the signs that Laura likes me, except the ok with me kinoing her. In fact, during English, she totally ignores me unless I talk to her (well, we do sit on opposite sides). I've called her maybe 5 times for homework help, once to "just talk", up until now. But she never once called me. In the halls, she always walks by me and talks to her friends instead. Never did the hair twirl thing. She has asked about me and my ex-girlfriend before though. Often times mentioning I'm a bad boyfriend because of the things I did to my ex-.
So I go out on Tuesday to the bowling alley with my friend Alejandro, and supposedly Jessica is suppose to come. I also ask Laura to go (right after school Tuesday), she says sure, but then she calls me an hour before says she can't cuz her parents can't drive her that far out. Anyway, Jessica decides to stay home, and ditch us. So when we get there, we find out the BA is closed, and Alejandro decides to go to Jess's house. I decide to go home. When Alejandro gets to Jessica's house, I call to check up on him, and I ask to talk to Jessica. Jessica asks if I like Laura. I say yes, and she tells me to ask her out. I ask if Laura likes me, and she kind of beats around the bush. She says she can't screw Laura's trust, but kind of says Laura does. Also mentions Laura also says she doesn't really know me. Which is weird because I've known Laura for over a year, but only hung out with Laura once outside school. I guess girls are different. Jessica also mentions that she's happy that we'll be able to double date.
So Wednesday I call Jessica again, and we 3-way the phone convo (****ing pervs) but Laura doesn't know Jess's on the other line. I small talk Laura, and then say "Don't worry about Bowling, we didn't go. Line was too long. Anyway, Me, Drew (Jess' boyfriend), and Jess are going out Sat... we should double date, want to come along?" Laura again says "Sure." When Laura gets off the phone, Jessica tells me Drew and I should pick the date.
Thursday is Thanksgiving.
Today is Friday. Today I call Drew, and tell him we're suppose to pick. Drew seems to brush me off, and give me a "I don't know." I told him to call his gf and find out what we're doing and call me back. This is about 8:00. He seemed annoyed. At 9:15, I say **** it, I don't care what Drew thinks, I just want Laura. Drew doesn't answer, and so I call Jess. Jess says we probably won't go out Sat (tomorrow), cuz Jess's hurt and "Laura's parents prob wouldn't be able to do anything".
Based on that long rant... what does it sound like? Laura likes me, but her parents won't let her get out of the house? Laura's parents is her excuse not to go out with me? Or do I have some ****ty luck with going out with friends?
I also thought just talking to Laura would be the best way to cut the foreplay, but am I diving in to something she's totally unaware of? Any advice is appreciated.
