Exactly where I want to be.
It's not hard to get around the censor...Rather simple...But yeah, doesn't matter. People have been complaining about the censorship thing from the beginning and it's never changed. I don't even swear a whole lot, but it's just always been an irritation of mine to have someone/something edit my real words

Just worked out how to dodge the censor...

Create self-fulfilling prophecies. Always assume the positive. Assume she likes you. Assume she wants to talk to you. Assume she wants to go out with you. When you think positive, positive things happen.

Can't believe I got banned!!! Was I really so offensive guys?

At any rate, I promise I will behave! It's just so hard not to say fukk in everything I post, but I will try to keep my Turret's Syndrome under control. Fair enough? It would be cool to have my old screen name back but, whatever.

Kind of ironic that the poster of the censor thread gets banned. hehe, at least I can laugh at myself!

I can't believe how many of you are missing the big picture, I for one appreciate the cencorship and believe that allen is doing a great thing here!

Look, in a forum that has, say, a thousand visitors (where prolly only 4 or 500 people will post), then it's all fine and dandy to cuss like sailors. But here at sosuave, we have over 8000 registered users and there is a ton of posting going on here every day. If the mods, primarily allen, didn't do everything they could to keep this board in order, it would plunge into chaos. Cencorship may not be a huge thing, but it does contribute.

For example, if you are into martial arts you may know of a forum called sherdog, there, the mods do a very poor job of keeping things in order and, aside from posting 20 or 30 times a day, they seem quite lazy. At sherdog, there was about 12000 registered users last time i checked, more than there are here but it's still in the same ballpark. People, if you've ever gone to these forums you'd know that the mods are less strict than allen, and the penalty? Well, when one person disagrees with another, it usually takes about 5 seconds before it turns into "**** YOU YOU ****ING **** **** **** FACE ****ER GO **** YOUR MOMMA'S TITTIES AND SHOOT YOURSELF YOU WORTHLES ****ING **** ****!!!!"

I'm sure Allen knows that guys like blitz and gio can swear responsibly, and if there were no rules here, I'm sure they could still remain responsible posters. But I shudder to think about what would happen to these boards if the thousands of less mature posters started abusing the whole "no rules" thing.

I don't know how much cencorship contributes to the order of things around here, but things are still in order and as long as things stay that way I'm not going to ask for any changes in the way allen runs this board.

Censoring words that there's nothing wrong with, just because certain people don't like them, isn't my idea of keeping order. But it's their forum so i'll go by their rules.

Ditto. But, I don't see any ads and this site is on a nice connection. It doesnt lag that much and its rarely down. I will put up with the censors for no ads and a slow server.

I'm guessing the reason for the censor is because we have people on here under the age of 18. In order for Allan to allow people younger than 18 on here, he has to enforce the censor for legal issues. Hell, I wouldn't want sosuave torn down because the censor wasn't enforced.

That's my theory anyway.

You guys have been missing two things for a while...

1. The censor has been around since the begining of this site. Allen is just warning us about going around it.

2. Allen took down the notice. The whining can stop.

But the reason for the censor is a secret and has nothing to do with search engines. Don't know how that rumor got started. People have been guessing about this for years, and no one's gotten it right yet, lol.
His wife(???) doesn't want to see it?
