Is it something a real man would do? Waste of time? Better things than that? Only after you done all the work? 3,2,1, Discuss!

Sometimes, haven't for a while though.

It's fine I just don't think it should be something you are spending hours on daily.

I used to enjoy an hour before bed after a late night gym session.

Playing GTA or something is a better use of time than watching sitcoms or whatever

I'll take it a step further and say I even collect retro video games.

Don't play as much as I used to, but i still enjoy playing the classics here and there.

everyday... usually when I'm waiting for pickups (uber)

I have this android strategy game called mechcom 2. It's been challenging, and continues to be a challenge.

I'm also a Gears of War and GTA player. Fun times!

Used to be an addict when I was a kid, so I forced myself to stop. About 2 years ago, a friend of mine got me and our squad to play League of Legends, and I didn't really get addicted to it at the time because we hung out a lot and did a whole bunch of fun stuff. When we moved and I had to transfer schools right before senior year started, I got readdicted to it because I used it somewhat as a coping method and a way to latch onto the past in a way (I know, pathetic). I still play it right now in college, though only on the weekends sometimes. I toned it down a ton moslty because the workload is super heavy here and professors don't teach all that well so I gotta teach myself. College is rough lol.

I play Dota, much like League, with friends mainly. The community is really toxic as a whole and I do my best to avoid them. One thing I would note though, for some of us video games are a coping mechanism (i.e regression in psychology) when we are not doing anything with our lives. I found that when I have a direction in my life and am taking necessary action to move towards the goals I want, the need/want for gaming actually disappears.

Used to game hard core, always caused problems with women. Women hate seeing a man waste time playing video games. I can watch tv all day but pick up a game controller and I loose all respect from her.

Last girl that moved in with me I told her straight up. I play video games, if I'm playing don't bother me.

I used to play video games a ton because of the "escape" it provided from real life. Now that I've been in school full time and working full time for the last year and a half with a few more years still on the horizon before the career transition is complete, I use my spare time for socializing or hobbies that get me outdoors.

Also true what SgtSplacker said above. Women will judge you as a lazy bum for gaming for hours on end, same for sitting on the couch and watching sports all day with beer bottles scattered around the coffee table and chip crumbs gathered on your shirt.

I play 1 or 2 hours a month.... feel like a ''waste'' of time... but its really relaxing to escape the reality... with age... you disconnect from gaming

I'll play 3 hours on a Sunday afternoon/evening. FPS, but the game I've played is shutting down December 1st. What sucks is my rig is soo fvckin fast at 5.0 Ghz so there will be no gaming after Dec 1 and all that speed will go to waste. Gaming is bad for you though, I think, unless you're young(er). I did it to spark competitive juices. I love competition and that's what it did for me, as would baseball, football, basketball, soccer, golf did for me when I was younger. Communication in a team to win an objective is a good healthy skill to have.

I keep playing the same two games I was playing 12 yrs ago, always the same map and always the same strategy, its basically the only thing that relaxed me since my brain goes in automode.

When I was at the beginning of my high school I got an rpg game and wanted nothing to do with the world but playing it, I spent an entire summer playing that game from morning to night stopping just for meals and sleeping.

Had no interest in going out with my classmates either, told them I was sick and when they no longer believed it told them I was poor and couldnt afford nights out, truth was that video game was a better company than them.

Right now its just a relax thing, when I have more interesting stuff to do I can pass months without them especially when Im in eastern Europe for work so I have interest in local women and night life.

You can't just post this and not tell us the name of the game. That's inhumane!
