Why on Earth does anybody think restricting the police even more than they already are, is a good idea? Do people not enjoy safety? Police have been examined deeply for years, the only thing you can do now is take away their guns. Yeah that will work.

I don't get it. A guy committed robbery, then disregarded and assaulted a cop, twice. How does he NOT deserve to get shot? Blows my mind. The only thing I can come up with is that some groups of people prefer less civilized society.

If you are in public service expect to be scrutinized. Heavily.

There were several cops here in Denver who just made the cover story on all the local news channels for PUMMELING this dude who tried to swallow drugs. Then they leveled his pregnant wife. All kinds of unnecessary force. Some guy videotaped it, then they illegally confiscated his tablet, erased the video, and gave it back. He somehow synced it to his cloud and the video survived, so he turned it into the news.

I think most cops, like other serving professions, are pretty decent dudes, but in my observation and life experience there is large contingency of aggressive, trigger-happy assh0les who are just waiting, salivating even, for a perp they can use force against. I think these guys would be assh0les in any profession, but when you give them that level of power and expose them to the scum of society every day they just get really short fuses and make bad decisions.

I'm of the school of thought that if you commit crimes and put yourself in bad situations, accept the outcome. The cops HAVE to be given the benefit of the doubt, because they are reacting to others' actions.

I think those types make the best cops. Fear is the best deterrent of bullsh*t. I was on the board for a fraternity when I was in college, and we had a position called 'Sergeant-at-arms" whose job basically was to regulate order in the meetings and other functions. I nominated the biggest, most hated, fight-happy guy we had and, you guessed it, we had MINIMAL problems with people getting out of order. And much less violence due to sheer fear of his retaliation.

And I get it, sometimes they take it too far. But I'd say there is 0.0001% chance of being a victim of police brutality if you aren't committing a crime. And even when you are, there's probably a 5% chance at best. I'm not going to pretend I know what growing up in a ghetto is like, but I do know most of the white lib-tard suburban clowns I know that complain about cops, are pissed off because they caught speeding. Because it wasn't their fault or anything.

For every justifiable kill, there's plenty that aren't. Cops are getting WAY out of hand, in my opinion.

For example, that cop who shot that homeless guy in Albuquerque (after being recorded as saying he was going to shoot him in his d*ck) gets to retire with full benefits.

Not to mention the hundreds of millions of dollars seized from citizens WITHOUT REASON.

Not saying cops should have their guns taken away, but there shouldn't have to be city wide riots to get somebody to look into any complaints.
