Bradd: Why do your "hot" friends date ugly to average women? I'm genuinely curious about this one. Most "hot" guys I was friends with had hot girlfriends. As did I. This was before I stopped caring obsessively about looks, and took myself away from that entire crowd. But definitely, all the hot people I knew at the time were with other hot people. Always. It's the whole league thing, and attracting what you are. A hot person feels instinctively compatible with another hot person, and for the most part, associates with that kind of person - be it guys or girls; friends or lovers. Hot people usually stick to their own crowds - as with other types, and theirs.

This has happened so many times, I can't even count them all. It was constant. Some of us (guys and girls) steered away from the hot ones from time to time, but that was only after realizing they were no good to partner up with. So, a lot of them would settle - and even describe it as such (without actually saying it). For instance, some girls would say they don't trust pretty boys; the charming, good-looking bad boys aren't relationship material; and ***** and whine and complain. But the point is, they still dated these types for a long time, and still obsessed about them.

Other than that - and this is actually a very, very common scenerio / reason - I have never seen a hot guy or girl not hook up with its equivalent. Like, ever. They almost always pair up with their type, and who they feel they can get.

As you've stated Asian men have it the hardest in previous threads. Did you manage to ONLY get messages from Asian males on POF? Or does this 99% make up MOSTLY white males? Or did you manage to make a graph on a chalkboard dividing every race that still = 99% of guys online have no game?

You can't have it both ways GSP. It's either MOST guys have no online game or game period or 'only Asian guys have it hardest'.

Your experiment has been done to death already. Wow. Women get tons of messages and most say 'hi'. SHOCKING.

Let's look at reality. Do you go into 'game' theatrics in trying to meet people in everyday life or TRY to act normal and say hello? That's what most people do.

Ninja, you have given us a very wonderful guide to POF, but as you have said, you can't use these "theatrics" and "attention grabbing gimmicks" in the real world.

What is your advice for real world situations? (i.e. clubs/bars, social circle, mall/streets)

You have mentioned being "NORMAL", this is the equivalent of being normal on POF then you will not stand out. Im sure most people are NORMAL. Does that mean everyone that is NORMAL is ALPHA(for lack of a better word/desireable)? What will seperate you from the rest of the BETA NORMAL PEOPLE. How will you stand out and what will give you the edge over other dudes?

Floyd, the fact that you're even posting on a site dedicated to solving girl problems is representative of the fact that picking up girls isn't just as simple as "hot guys get hot girls and it's just that easy." If we lived in a perfect world, like people would indeed attract other like people. But look around next time you go out to a club or the mall.. how many hot girls are with hot guys? Why do my friendsend up dating average looking women? Believe me it's almost certainly not by choice.. like me, they have banged hot women some of the hottest you'll ever see, but the're far to much trouble to deal with. Then you said its not by choice. So far, so good. But then you said they hooked up with all these hot girls, and realized they were only good for sex, and caused too many problems, so they settled with average girls. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I JUST SAID EARLIER, which completely contradicts your other point. You say its not by choice - then turn around and say it is by choice. You're saying these guys DO get hot girls. Which is the point, and so is CHOOSING these average girls. Edit: The above generalization is 99% true. There are SOME exceptions. My friend married a girl who was a flight attendant off of POF. It is hard for a girl to get a stable relationship when she's in a different country 4 nights a week. This occurrence was several years ago though. Online dating and especially POF was much better 6+ years ago. So if you want to spends hours a day trying to find the 1% online, go ahead. But don't b1tch and moan about your girl problems with online dating. You have been warned.
