This is a high school bound project i have to do and i wanted other people opinion if this makes sense or not if it doesnt plz help me edit thank you i appreciate it.
As many students finishing up there last couple months of 8th grade and moving on to high school there may be many concerns and excitements. Have you ever thought about these before you went on to high school? Many people have excitements for dating but have you thought about anything else besides meeting better looking boys or girls? Well I have many concerns and excitements some of the excitements I have I am also worried about.
Lets start from concerns well my concerns for high school are grades, sports, getting new friends, getting into fights, and literacy. I don’t want to sound like a nerd but to me grades and certain classes are pretty significant to me. I organized on taking AP classes and doing sports. In order to get into AP classes I have to get good grades and what those grades do is they give you better opportunities of college. I am also concerned about literacy classes in high school because that’s one of the subject that I’m not really good at. Literacy I feel like when I write I do a lot of reputations, grammar, and vocabulary. Then in reading it’s really tough for me to get in a book and actually understand it unless I’m really into it somehow, or a lot of people said its a good book to read. Another reason why grades are a concern is because I planned on doing sports, and without getting good grades it’s really hard to be elaborate in any sports.
Having new friends and getting into fights are one of the biggest concerns I have. During my middle school years I realized that I’m not the easiest person to get along with, and I can be really judgmental. I tried my best to change my attitude before i get serious in life, and people said I been getting better I hope that’s true because I really don’t want a lot of tragedy but at the same time I know I will have some anyway let’s just see who I get along with and who I don’t . I already have a feeling that I will get along with most of the boys and not the girls, the reason I’m saying this is because middle school turned out like this.
Talking about excitements I don’t have that many. Sure meeting more boys and more people could be one of the ones but let’s just say that’s not really one of the ones that I’m looking forward to. But the two excitements I’m really looking to are meeting back my old friends that I use to go to middle school with and having more opportunities. I’m excited to go to school with my old friends again because they were pretty close to me, and during my bad days when I don’t feel like going to school they were actually the ones that made me wanted to go because I know no matter what they will find a way to cheer me up, on my upset days they were the ones that kept me moving so I’m really happy that I can go to the same school with them again, and being able to have them as my lifelong friends. Although I hope the people that are close to me in middle school could also be my lifelong friends. Having more opportunities for me means more sports that I would like to be involved , and more foreign language classes,. I think some of the sports I want to be involved for now are volleyball and tennis I’m pretty sure there are others. Foreign language class… I think I would like to take Spanish and Chinese because living in America and planning to have a job here Spanish would be very helpful. I also would like to take Chinese because that’s my culture and it could be interesting since I already am but hard at the same time because writing really hard in that language. Other than those two excitements I really don’t have that much.
