Where do you live? Spam the message I posted out to all the hotties in and near where you live. It's getting ALOT of replies. So far all good. I haven't had time to answer all of these chicks.

Even if you don't live in a big city send emails to places you may visit relatives or friends alot and add them to Facebook to see more pictures of them and maybe get a lil vacation hookup.

I don't have the time or energy to socialize pointlessly, nor do I wish to.

But I would like some statistics from innovative methods like this.

No offense but who cares what I accomplish in meeting or "laying" anyone.

You guys should be more concerned with who you meet and have plans with.

The point of online "dating" to me is to use it as an extra tool besides meeting women in real life to meet people I wouldn't normally run into. Simple.

2 gave me a thanks..., (which basically was not worth pursuing)

You CAN and WILL keep talking to them.

Send them a reply to those who appear to blow you off (they're testing you to see if you will run away after their first one liner to see if you are or aren't the funny, confident man you appeared to be in the first email.)

I've had mixed results with it. It's a good ice breaker and i've got a handful of conversations still going from it, but many of the answers lack substance and the conversation burns out quick. The fact is, you either click with someone or you don't, and these tricks will only get you so far.

I have good luck by reading a profile, looking for stuff we have in common, and just start talking to them; avoid all the stupid b.s. For example, i'm a road biker, so if I see a girls into cycling, I might write a few sentences telling her how I compete in triathlons, that such and such is beautiful trail, ask where she normally rides, etc. Girls are much more likely to respond when you put a little thought into a message, just be sure you make it fun and keep it to a few sentences. Leave it open ended, like you don't care if she responds. Also contrary to popular belief on here, what you write on your profile DOES matter. I took the time to create a fun, nicely written profile and get compliments on it very often. Lastly, I see lots of guys say "number close after 3-4 messages or bail". Unless you're writing long emails, in my experience most girls will stop responding after 3-4 messages if you ask for a number. It takes a little time, just ask when it "feels right". Most of the numbers i've gotten after 3-4 short emails ended up being serial daters who give their number out to half the men on the site.

Now, if I read a profile and we have nothing in common, there's nothing written that I can neg her about, and nothing stands out in my mind to bullsh*t her with, that's when I employ this new ice breaker. It's what works for me, and i'm sticking with it.

Pretty solid improvement if I take into consideration that before, I never got past the 2nd reply!

Believe me your ratio is 99% better than 99% of the male users of Plenty of Fish.

Google "Plenty of Fish Sucks" or "Plenty of Fish Reviews" or even the "Plenty of Fish Forums". And you'll see and find threads where TONS of guys don't get responses AT ALL.

You need to be creative to get a response. But I keep in mind that most of these women are on here looking for the Lotto strike of finding the top 1% looking guy who is going to "take care of them". They just let their profiles sit and only choose the best out of all the guys. I don't kid myself on what is going on there. I just don't care either and I find it amusing. If I met and or dated girls off there..Fine. If not. There are tons in real life. It's just an extra tool for us to meet people we wouldn't normally meet.

The rule I set myself is:

Me: First message (using your template or slightly modified)
Her: Whichever answer

Me: Build from her answer with a second smart/funny remark, and ask a serious open-ended question about her profile to get her to talk
Her: Whichever answer

Me: Again build from the answer, if she replied with a long message (or seems interested), go for the number, if not send one more message and then go for it


Typical message for the number: "Anyways, talking by short messages is fun and all, but it quickly become redundant. Why don't you give me your number, so we can organize something simple like coffee"

I'd ask for Facebook after I've gotten their number and or sometimes before if they aren't comfortable giving their number out to see more pictures of them as you don't want to ask or guess their POF pictures are current unless they put the dates in the pictures themselves.

Ask for a number first.

Then or maybe only ask for a Facebook if you aren't totally sure their pics are current or are blurry etc. just to get a better idea for yourself of what they look like in various pics and the type of person they are.
