You need an outlet, somewhere to direct your focus and hitting the gym or even a martial art or dance class is going to make a difference.
It sounds like you have a victim mindset and it's important to take action now or this is going to stick with you. Bodybuilding worked for me and many others on this forum so that would be my personal recommendation.
