Playing the Power Games

The girl I'm seeing is easily an HB8. She gets hit on a LOT, has been in commercials, just one of those girls. After two months of dating, we're in a dynamic that's purely a jealousy pissing contest. It's getting out of hand.

1. She'll tell me about boys that like her. I come back with "awesome" or I'll change the subject. I never give her the impression like I care.

2. That bothers her, so she'll go further and say "they're inviting me out to a party - I'm not sure if I'm going to go" I usually tell her, she should go.

3. She'll even say "i really like talking to this other guy" (who is usually a really big tool that she'd never be interested in anyway) but I suppose it's to get me jealous, too.

Most of the time, I don't come back with stories myself. Today, however, I told her a girl that has a crush on me invited me to her birthday party and I was thinking of going.

That's what happened. She hung up on me. Since that is incredibly rude, I wrote her text saying "don't ever do that again" She replied back with "well if you want to have options like that slut I'll make my own options too. don't say anything when i go out with other guys now."

See where this is going? I do, and I don't like it.

My end goal is to have her under control. I know she digs me - a lot. Everything about the 'relationship' is good, physically, the conversation, the dates - the only thing is her insistence that I be jealous. When it's flipped, she flips out.

What would you guys do to keep this girl in check? I know most people here will tell me to next her, which is a very close possibility. But, seriously, I love challenges, and this is getting me over some boredom.

it sounds like the initial strategy (of ignoring her ploys) was mostly working, altho I can imagine it was probably annoying you somewhat

If you held strong with it long enough, she might eventually quit trying to make you jealous.

if you realize its a game, just ignore it...

its obviously bugging you.. so its working, and she's feeding off that...

I've been on this trip for a while, saying that the power games are bull****.

Its ****ing DYD and most other seduction gurus getting things confused. DeAngelo himself admits that his stuff is not about relationships, its about sex. Read the Game and you'll see the Mystery man hasn't mastered the relationship realm and Style had to totally change tactics to grab the higher quality girl.

Totally different situation once you've landed em and you want a keep em.

I'll give you a couple of examples of how playing games with girls I have landed has backfired.

One night I was at a good (female) friends party. Three girls I had nailed in the last few months present. I tried to play em off against each other. Once they cottoned on all three ignored me for the rest of the night, flirted with other guys and two of them hooked up with other guys (that wasn't their style but they were honnies and they couldn't handle being played like that). One of the *****es called the friend she knew I was hanging with the next day to tell her how well the guy she'd picked up had nailed her!

Another night I was out with an FB. A girl I really wanted to hook up with was there. I started giving attention to the newcomer. My FB disappeared. This girl I was talking to told me she had a boyfriend. I bailed and went to find my FB. She was chatting to a guy. She obviously wanted to make me jealous. I thought to myself "hey *****! I got game! You can't pull that **** on me!" I started chatting to a babe. The babe turned out to be a lesbian and it was my FB that went home with her! (that one makes me laugh actually. My boys said my face, when THEY started kissing was priceless. LOL)

This **** made me realise that games are for chicks. That is their way of having power.

The fact is no matter how much game you have we (DJs) are massively handicapped by all the AFCs out there when it comes to the jealousy game.

Sure a DJ is rarer than a 10. But 8-10s will still be able to get an AFC a lot easier than we can get a 8-10.

It doesn't matter how good you are, a babe can walk up to almost any guy and HE WILL **** HER.

A hot hot girl CANNOT HANDLE being second. They CANNOT DO IT. You have no idea how much their ego is caught up in their hottness. Yes you can use this ego by "being the prize" to get their digits or their sugar, but in the long run you cannot win the jealousy battle.

Now I am not saying relinquish your power. No far from it. Never stop being a challenge, NEVER be jealous but once you've established that you don't need her you do need to call off the power struggle.

Instead you have to give her what she (and every woman) really wants.

You have to be a MAN: an ALPHA and claim her. No more ****ing games. She is YOURS!!!

I learned this from a good friend who is a natural alpha. He NEVER EVER plays games and told me I was a ****head when I told him about games I have played.

A man doesn't play games. He talks straight, he lays down the law. This is what he would SAY (he'd never shout and never lose his cool) in a tone that allows for no argument.

"Okay baby listen. I had no plans to **** this girl. I have too much respect for myself to do that. Do not try to make me jealous. Not only is it unecessary its not going to work. I know I'm better than these other guys, but I DEMAND respect from MY woman. By trying to make me jealous of these dudes you are disrespecting me. **** that. If you wanna go out with other guys I hope you have a real good time coz you won't be seeing me again. This isn't an ultimatum, they are for pussies, this is just the way it is. I wont allow MY woman, and YOU are my woman, to play this ****."

That should fix her up for a while. If it doesn't walk, she'll come running back.

Props, Jay Jay. Leave the games to the ladies, and let them know in no uncertain terms that you refuse to play em.

Doesn't always end in success, but I'd rather not compromise my principles than tag some ass.
