ok, I don’t know about you guys but I have a much harder time talking to girls over the phone than i do in person. ya u must think I’m crazy, but I’ve got good reason, you see when your talking to some one in person you can just look at them read there body language and tell where the conversation is going form there, also if you get stuck ya can always talk about something the person is has on. its true I guess you can sort of tell some of these things through voice tone also but .. its not as effective.

I just have what I like to call the mental block, I just can’t take the conversation any feather and I panic, and when I panic, things get really ugly. (Lets leave it at that)

so do you guys have any advice?
Perhaps some um conversation starters?
Interesting topics (14-16 age range)
Just stuff that you guy’s talk about over the phone
Keep in mind some times she’s in a higher or lower grade than me
So ... ya if I’m not in her classes theirs not that much to talk about..

so do we have any experts in the conversation area?

ya but.....

dude, your not seeing my point, ture the goal is usually to get a date however! thats not the main objective here, the main objective is self improvement, and i would really like to improve myself by becoming a better conversationalist over the phone, as well as in person.

here are a few things you can say (some I made up, some I heard from other people):

"Tell me a secret"

"Tell me something I want to know about you"
Don't get too specific, make her think about what you might want to know about her.

"If you could be any animal, what would you be, and why?"

"Tell me something"
When she asks "about?" just say anything. You can elaborate on this if you want, ie: "Tell me something sexy," "Tell me something funny," etc.

"Tell me something I don't know about you"

Just be creative. Also, be prepared to come back with your own answers, it might help to be prepared to answer before you ask, I've gotten a few "You go first while I think" responses before.
