Hey, I think I'm doing pretty good in regards to the DJ principles but yesterday at college Iasked three girls for their number and each girl said they had a boyfriend. In every situation, I would walk up to her, introduce myself, get her name. We'd talk for a minute. Then when it was time to close, they would say they had a boyfriend. I know my technique was on point because I've been at college for a year and I never messed up three times in a row.

I know that sometimes girls say things to test guys. I basically failed that because I would just say "Oh, that's ok. I'll talk to you later.", basically knowing that I'll probably never see them again.

I know someone else has had this trouble. How do you all handle it?

You handle it by realizing it's a fun game to talk to girls and get as far as asking for their phone numbers. You're far ahead of most men in the US today by even asking.

Even though the statistics are that every 100 girls you hit on, only 4 or 5 will actually give you her number with the intention of dating you, which will turn into a nice relationship, just having the b*lls to ask is great.

So what if the first few are flakes. Kudos for getting out there and talking to them!

Where THEE HELL did you get these stats from.

Hey Jay, why don't you ask if their single or have a b/f before you get their number. Also ask what they do for fun or if they go out much and then suggest an activity you do before you close ya dig.

Something like.

You: So do you go out much.

Her: Bla bla bla

You: Really, well have you seen the new movie Dumb & Dumberer, I heard it's funny as hell

Her: No bla bla bla

You: Well, I might go see it later on this week, you wanna join me (assuming you've built some good rapport)

Her: sure, bla bla bla

You: well, uh, right your number down and I'll give you a call and we can set something up.

Her - " I have a bf"
You - "Cool, when are you getting married"
Her - (Laughing) "Well we never really talked about it"
You - "Ohh, how long have you been dating"
Her - "Not long"
You - "Like....3 years?"
Her - "Well, ya"
You - "And when were you marrying him again"
Her - "Well he's sais he's not ready"
You - "OK, what was that number again, nothing like getting a guy ready by handing out your number"

There's the story about the guy who was not ready to get married so the girl dumped him and the AFC went home and lived with mommy for a few weeks and then came back to marry her.

You don't want to date her, you just want to sleep with her....

Her - "I have a BF"
You - "Cool, I have a gf"
Her - "Then why are you asking for my number"
You - "Because I know what your going through"
Her - (Laughing) "What do you mean by that?"
You - "Give me your number and I'll explain it some other time, I have to go."

Her - "I have a BF"
You - "thats ok, he'll get over you"

Her " i have a BF"
You - "Good for you, but slow down, I wasn't asking for your life story, just your number".

You " And your advice sucks"
Donny "I know, but I'm hitting on the same girls you are and I don't want you to take them all"

Jay, maybe you're not actually getting them talking about themselves? It's a common mistake for a guy to just yap his head off and make a fool of himself.

After the first thirty seconds or so you should be asking questions and getting them on a roll about who they are. This might boost your success.

I'd be trying to number close after five or ten minutes.

Numbers after a minute probably goes over a bit sleazy.
