I went to a band/dance/party event last weekend and as I was driving home thinking about the great evening I had, I realized that I really screwed up in one major area..
While at this dance I had 4 females approach me and make conversation, females that I didn't already know (many of them i did due to the common group we hang out in).. I also approached 2 I didn't know and talked to them. All were possibilities and didn't appear to be there with a date. The conversations went well, I danced with several of them.
The problem was this: I didn't leave with any phone numbers, or, with any of them! Before I knew it, the party was over and the all of the females I had been yacking with were nowhere to be found..
In situations like this, i need some advice on when to go for the number.. Do you ask for it in that first initial conversation, or does that make you seem too anxious? Or, do you stay cool and let the evening flow, and wait later to go for the kill? In this case, I waited too long, and got nothing :-(
