Lakers will make it into the playoffs under Phil, but they wont win a championship with their team as it is now.

Phil is overrated in my opinion. Yeah he got 9 championships, but look at the talent he had for them. Jordan + Pippen, then Jordan + Pippen + Rodman, then Shaq + Kobe. The only reason he won 6 with the Bulls and 3 with the Lakers was cause Jordan was the kind of player who cared more about winning then his own stats, whereas kobe was not.

Phil always had a championship ready team at his disposal when he coached. This is the first time ever he actually has to build a weak team into a championship one, and it's not gonna happen.

other then the two championship teams now to watch next year will be Heat, Pacers, Bulls and Suns.

Both Heat and the Suns are disappointed at how this season ended, and will come out hungry next season.

Pacers will have Artest back, who will explode this year, and they will use their draft pick to get Rudy Fernandez, the best shooter in the draft and a good replacement for Reggie.

Bulls have a pretty solid team, they will have Eddie Curry back, and will be among the top 3 eastern conference teams. The team has a lot of potential and heart.

Eddy may not be back. His heart is fvcked up. The pacers need a center.

If the Lakers find a soild center, and a good point guard. They could go all the way.

Member the first game of the season when Chris Mihm (Sp?) went crazy and Kobe was passing.

Then Kobe got injured, rudy got sick, Kobe cameback, Lamar got hurt.

This year will be much better.
