I just started goin out with this girl recently, im wonderin if i should use pet names, or is that a turn off to them. Like i dont wanna be sickening with them, but if anything just say things like hey beautiful or cutie or soemthing liek that when i answer the phone or online etc. Im kind of cold in my demanor sometimes, cant help it. Girls have dated seem to think i dont like em as much as i actually do, which actualyl may be a good thing in keepin a girl, but still im wonderin if i should use little names like that. good idea?

 Try "babe". You can say it in a business-like and non-committal manner.

"Ah, my ex used to have the cutest little nickname for me."

"What was it?"

"God."

I use "gorgeous" a lot. And "Princess" is my half kidding "insult" name. Like if a woman is being whiny and really picky about something, I'll tell her to "make up your mind, Princess." Hilarious. It really shuts them up for whatever reason. Of course, beautiful or gorgeous is reserved for crushes. I'll call any female "princess" when I know them well enough to be playful.

Yeah. Kinda like Sawyer off of Lost. He always uses those types of things sarcastically. He totally ripped off freckles from me though. haha! I always called cute chicks with freckles that. Its a neg/hit sorta cause they don't know that I love freckles. I also used mamacita with moms (makes em feel good because a lot of them are worried about their figures after pregnancy), latina's (usually asked em if I can call them mamacita after finding out they're latina. I usually say just kidding, but end up calling em that anyways haha), and one chick that I thought had a kid but then I found out she didn't. I kept calling her mamacita anyway and she really dug it.

Other than that, the others are pretty spot on. You can call a girl just about anything as long as you say it with confidence and know her.

Always use names that are cute but is a neg-hit at the same tine. You can call them Butch, Spooky, Puddles or Poopie. They won't know whether to love it or feel insecure.

I used to call my oneitis cupcake and darlin all the time.... she acted annoyed sometimes but i think she really liked it. She drew the line when i called her baby. She told me i wasn't allowed to call her that, lol. If i were you I would just call the girl something like baby or darlin and gauge her reaction. If it works go for it.

I called a mexican-american girl mamacita one time and she got really offended and thought it was an insult. All i was trying to be was give her a compliment, but she hated me saying it..lol. She said something like, "I have never even been to Mexico, so don't call me that."

To quote Tucker Max- "F.uck her if she can't take a joke right?"

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

A pet name will make her feel more special. Try to stay away from the really typical names like honey, sweetie, darling, etc. Instead, get a name that comes from an inside joke, and keep using it.

For example, once my bf and I competed in a food fear factor event where I ate an entire plate of larvae. Since then he's called me Larvae Girl and shortened it to LG, so I'm just LG now ^______^

In my household there is only room for one and she is my 3 year old dachsund Ms. Brownie Muffin (Muff for short). The other girls in my home are all referred to by thier pet names. Boo, Cheaux, babypop, honeypot . . . You get the idea.

That's a good idea, cuz i always feel effeminate using the word cutey or sweety. That's like a girly thing to say. How about callin her - beautiful, sexy, or some variation of that (like when adressing her on the phone or onine) Sexy is kind of a girl thing to say too right? Like - hey sexy. I dunno i could be wrong. I just wanna appear less cold, girls always think im not as into them as i actually am. My girl got nervous last night and asked me if she was smuthering me by callin so much. It couldnt be the opposite, wonder how she got that impression.
