I'm not really materialistic, and don't like to have stuff laying around that I don't use. There is really not much of a point to this thread, however, I am going to list my top five favorite personal possessions and tell you why they are considered favorites. Please list your top five and why. I just thought this might be interesting. No need to list your family, wife or GF. You don't own them. Here goes.....1)My musical instruments. My banjos, guitar and mandolin. Why? I like to spend some of my free time playing them by myself and with others. It relaxes me to do so and it's fun. 2)My German Shepherds. I list them because I do own them. Why? They think I rock no matter what. They have really cool personalities so it's fun to spend time with them. 3)My firearms. Why? I love to shoot and hunt. Have done it since I was a little boy. It takes practice to become good at it. Shoot in a league with my buddies which makes it really enjoyable since I get to hang out with them. Plus it's very competitive. 4)My flyrods. Why? I love to fish. Nuff said. 5)My house. Why? Because to me, it's the most comfortable place to be on the planet. I know this thread might sound lame to some of you, but just thought it would be interesting to see what "things" mean the most to other guys.

My Macbook because it is very easy to use and allows me to make $$ and do all sorts of things

My magic bullet style blender, because I drink around a thousand protein shakes per year and this baby is always in use, blends them quickly and I can drink it right from the cup

My ipod, because I am convinced gym performance goes up at least 15%-20% when you are blasting appropriate music. Without some hard hitting songs I would not be able to put up that extra rep on squats of bench

my new favorite summer shirt: light and fancy enough to be casual or going out

1. My computer. It's old and depressingly slow but without it and the internet I wouldn't know half the **** I do now and I wouldn't be half the person I am without it.

2. My weights. They brought me from a skinny weakling to a good looking chunky monkey in the past few months. Can't tell you how much better I feel about myself now.

3. My mp3 player. Like Oxide I find it essential when I'm weight lifting and going for those heavy sets on squats. You need that motivational music to keep you from giving in to the pain on those last few reps. I alos love to go for walks with my dog and listen to self-help audio books.

4. My car. It takes me where I need to go.

5. Can't think of a 5th one. Guess I really don't have that many possessions.

1. Grey Pants. They go with everything.
2. Car. Kind of a no-brainer here.
3. Sig P225. Bought from a good friend. Great gun.
4. Objectivism - The Philosophy of Ayn Rand by Leonard Peikoff. I talk a lot about Objectivism, but I wouldn't had it not helped me fix myself up. I will likely re-read this book 400 times.
5. Computer. Entertainment, social networking and news. A necessary evil.
