Perhaps we need a Council of Elders

The problems would be, who should we put up there? How would we decide it? I'm sure everyone would have a different opinion after the first 3 or 4 obvious choices. Then another problem would be, the most obvious choices, i.e. Pook.... they don't post anymore.

Maybe if we asked really really nice we could get Mystery to register here and he could be the alph/omega leader of the council. :cheer:

Yet another issue: Once this so called council was created, the members would be prime targets for trolls and people who just disagree with everything. They'd challenge anything the council says, and constantly bash them.

When a council member speaks, he will not be able to be challenged by non-council members. Only another member of the council could raise a counter point.

The whole point is to have a group of people who would be the final word on any issue, right? Don't we have the DJ Bible for that?

Yes, but life is always evolving. The bible, sacred as it is, is a dead text, much like the real bible.

This is why Jedi dont have a bible. They live in the moment, and they have a wise council to advise on current issues.
