Date Girls
These are the girls you are dating and seeing. Here are a couple of policies and little rules I have that I follow thoroughly:
o1. Always be an upbeat and exciting person. Even though something bad happens during your time together, like the car breaks down or you get stuck in traffic, don't let it water down your spirit. Shrug it off. If you think it's all good, so will she. Always have a positive attitude. The glass is half full.
o2. No talking about past relationships too early on. If she asks about how many women you've been with, tell her "A few," but in a tone that lets her know it's much more than that. I read this from another thread. But change the subject quickly.
o3. Find out as MUCH as you can about her. 70% listening and 30% talking for you.
o4. If she talks about how a movie star or singer is hot or cute, give a funny comment on how she should save that for her girl friends.
o5. No talking about things way ahead in the future. What's important is now. Not later. That's how you enjoy life.
o6. Don't be uptight, laugh it off. Life is too short to be serious about every single little thing. Live it up and give her the impression that you know what's fun and know what's good.
o7. No sad talk. Don't use your date to vent on what a bad day you've had. Save it for your friends.
Girl "Friends"
o1. When you have no more dates for the week, chill with her. Do something fun and relaxing, maybe shoot some pool together or do something intense, like clubbing. Dance together and then break out when you both get new partners. They're crutches for you.
o2. Meet her friends. First of all, they might be hot, down to earth people, just like yourself And since if you end up finding someone worth your time, you have a good friend to put in a good word for you
o3. You can use her to vent, but don't do it excessively.
o4. Good to flirt with and practice your conversation skills. Some of the ugly ones sometimes have stuck-up b-tch qualities too.
Guy Friends
Do I have to explain? Only thing I can say is that you have to pick your friends carefully, and make sure they hold the same interests as you. If you can't hang out with them and have a good time, you don't have the right type of person.
Usually, you'll have more aquaintances than real friends, but work on having a LOT of friends. This way, you're always busy. Don't be the guy who sits at home playing video games or watching TV. Be the guy that everyone wants to know better.
Phone Rule
With everybody I know, male or female, I only call to arrange plans chilling or a date. It should be brief and to the point. Doing this keeps you from talking on the phone all day and not getting out.
Keep your days busy. This board is a blessing to all of us who have access to it. Don't let it go to waste.
Random People
Just say you got off the bus and are now walking to the coffee shop to see your date. The sidewalks are busy.
This is yet ANOTHER opportunity for some quick confidence. Say "Hi" to everyone you see on the way to the cofee shop. If you want something more challenging, say "Hi, my name is (name.)" And shake their hand. It's okay if you're a few minutes late for that date, chances are she might be taking her time to get to the coffee shop too
Hope this helps. I might have left out some things, but I did it from the top of my head.
