Thank you A-Unit for typing up what I didn't have the patience to type up.

Nobody comes close to the Pats.....NOBODY. This team has been inspiring me all season and is possibly the best football team of all time.

I think somebody said Brett Farve will destroy the Pats come Superbowl time. Let's be real. He's good for a 43 year old man, he stands no chance against this juggernaut. He barely beat Denver for christ sakes. Somebody else said that Indy has beaten the Pats the last three times. But...where are we right now, as we stand today where are we right now? This team is twice as good as last season, and we have a huge chip on our shoulder that has grown in the offseason.

Peyton won't be able to throw deep to Harrison as long as my man Asante Samuel is on the field (best defensive back in the game IMO). If not him than Ellis Hobbs. Rosey Colvin and Mike Vrabel will stop Addai from getting anywhere. I don't expect to see Laurence Mahroony do much but I don't think we'll need him anyway. Dallas Clark ain't going nowhere with Adalias Thomas on his ass.

I'm soooo pumped for this game, this is a huge venue for the Pats to prove themselves once and for all as THE team in football.

This is professional football. If you don't like the way the Pats are playing....DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT

BARELY, Ace. :D Indy had that game, and you know it.

Nope indy lost the game period. I hate the fvcking patriots even though I think they are a great team. Indy lost the game at home. This was a huge loss. I would have to favor the patriots in the AFC championship game because of the home field advantage.

The NFC is a complete joke. Greenbay is probably the worst 7-1 team in the history of football. Dallas will take the NFC.

Newengland 44 dallas 31 in the superbowl.

Re:

Hate 'em all ya want, the Patriots won INSPITE of the Referess AND allegations they pumped in Audio sound. During several Patriot drives, random noise was louder than it should have been and there is audible "skipping". Check ESPN and Peter king Throughout the day as an investigation into these allegations and actions is forthcoming.

146 yards in penalties?

I'm an HONEST fan, not a homer, so if it looks like a legit penalty, I dig it.
Hobbs GETTING tackled was not a PI.
Nor was Randy Moss'. I'll state for the record he does "push" off alot, but this was definately not one of those cases.

While the colts didn't have Harrison they got ALOT of yards from the REFs, and obviously ALOT of production from Addai. It's hard enough going to Indy to beat them on their home turf, BUT then trying to beat the refs too? Are you kidding?

That score would have been 24-17, or worse. Ever since 03/04, when Harrison and company MOLESTED the Indy wr's and they were not NEARLY as physical, the refs have been against the pats whenever they play Indy. I realize they can't see such things that a camera can, but tell me....Mooreheads catch...

TWO FARKING REFS SAW HIS FEET, LOOKED DOWN, and still got the call wrong!!!!

Haters just love to hate, even if they've got NO reason to hate.

You'll see, the only people who talk crap are the Patriot FANS. You'll never find locker room material. You'll never hear OUR own or coach talk negatively about team , unlike the GM of the Colts.

Re:

In case you "doubt" the veracity of Indy pumping noise in, here's a link to it several times over...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHQTcFQEMXo

That, and the New England Patriot's Own Jonathan Kraft has logged an official complaint, having been at the game, that this did in fact happen.

Additionally, it's been reported and re-reported that Peter King, Espn, Si, and local boston radio is ALL OVER THIS. It was noticed before in Seattle, but many of the times they just brush it off as "stadium" noise, or the 12th man. For the colts, it was more like the 16th or 17th man, when you include the REFS working against us.

I don't know how Colts fans actually stand themselves. Bill Polian is a douche. He's ******dly Stated it's the "End of the Patriots" era. He's a classless GM who doesn't know when to shut up.

I don't get why they get Harrison out, when he was cleared by Doctors, but I doubt Harrison would have mattered being in that game. Initially, i was pissed at the Defense of the pats, but then realized INDY is the only other GREAT team in the league, but had two HUGE side benefits...refs, and noise pumping on their side, as well as homefield advantage.

I laughed the last 4 minutes of the game when Seau took the interception and the crowd just looked so dejected. Kind of how Peyton and Addai looked on the sidelines.

i'm not saying that INDY at good, but the league really does seem topsy turvey and sucky. SD is BAD. DENVER is BAD. GB is decent. Minn TROUNCED SD. SD should never have dumped Shottenheimer, they'd be a clear fav to win the SB this year. INstead, they're sucking pond water.

Sorry PITT, you dont' scare me. Your defense is not the steel curtain. Roth is ok. You have 2 decent WR, but nothing like INDY. Willie Parker is fast, but he isn't Addai or LT. Porter left and got too much dough from miami.

Yes, the pats didn't put up BIG arse numbers (how could they when the refs were giving indy yards they couldn't get on their own?), but they did a remarkable job in a stadium that was entirely hostile. I do like Peyton, but all the garbage surrounding him sucks. The pumped in music. The referees. And the way their fans have no respect for brady. At least as a homer, I can say peyton is a great QB, a hall of fame qb, and was proud he won. People get so emotional they can't see the forest for the trees.

NO TEAM IN HISTORY COULD POSSIBLY STEAL 3 SUPERBOWL wins. This isn't like Barry Bonds in baseball where he got away with it and will enter the HOF and record books, and decimate a GREAT and HONORABLE player. This is a team that is deserving of respect and should be modeled, yet it isn't, but every team out there.

-Don't overpay for ANY players (i.e getting randy moss, losing deion branch)
-Focus on the fundamental aspects of play (bolster the lines, pay the QB, have many viable players rather than 1 superstar, have all players able to fill any holes)
-Take away your strengths (in this case, addai went nuts, but Peyton didn't, and peyton can do more damage)
-The Draft is not how you build a team, it's how you manage one. (they trade draft picks, and with the way the 49ers are play, we will have a TOP 5 pick. THANK YOU VYMUCH. LB's are traded for or signed, not coached up. Get value at ALL positions. If you see value, take a shot...Chad Jackson/Laurence Maroney...).

I'm just surprised, witnessing an aspect of history, and like a thing of beauty, people want to crush it because your ego is crushed. Let the patriots do what they will history and be thankful you can witness it now, no matter what city you are from. Lastly, you are just fans. Your random ticket sales or logo apparel is a drop in the bucket, and they wouldn't miss it. You are not a share holder. You have not played or coached college ball. You do not know anything but what you see on tv, and most don't even know what defensive scheme their own team uses, yet they get so emotional and talk crap like THEY KNOW a darn thing.

omg, a-unit, after a game that close, I thought you would be here admitting that you were foolish to talk so much smack about a team that almost got beat (and will in the playoff rematch, btw), but instead it is all a giant conspiracy why the game was not a blowout?

That game proved to the entire world that the two teams are actually very closely matched.

A unit you said last week you would take -5 and NE all day every day. Hope you did because you lost your azz if you did. What happened to winning easily? A blowout like you stated?

Bottom line is Indy dominated that game, had it won, without 5 starters playing. NE was made to look like a very good team, as is Indy, but they are not super human as you stated earlier. If they played each other 10 times they would probably split 5-5. They are that close. Everyone else in the league is far behind. When they meet again in January for the playoffs, that is your real superbowl.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
Yesterday's game proves that the Colts and Pats are not "God teams". They're just a couple of solid football teams.

The rest of the league just blows.

Re:

Were it not for the refs and over 100 yards in PI's, the score would be farther apart and higher.

I admitted in both posts that it wasn't a blow out as I thought it should have been or could have been. Brady missed a WIDEOPEN Watson MANY times due to the pressure of Mathis and Freeney. Impressive.

But in the face of all the whining and simpering looks colts fans have, will I stop boosting my team? Fark no. Why? All you colts fans will go on about how great the colts are, yet pay no homage to brady or the pats. So I'll concede, as I always have, the Colts are good and DO scare me. Their defense looks like the real deal.

BUT PLEASE don't be so naive as to say the PI calls against the pats were actually FAIR calls. When I see the games and see a blatant penalty by the Pats, I concede that. But I hate homers who don't view the game at least some objectively and want to win by ignoring the truth.

Like most games involving the Colts and Pats, the calls are noticeable bad. Its probably made more so b/c they are normally very close games, and that only magnifies how right the calls HAVE to be. It certainly seemed like Vegas offered to pay the Refs more than they could make at reffing. I know alot of pissed off fans who thought it was something rigged given how obvious and terrible the calls were.

I've always been impressed with Peytons line. None of his lineman get the press big movers like Pace got, or even LJ's, or SA's lineman got, yet the always make sure he's never sacked. It was a very tit for tat game and made it wortwhile to watch. I don't foresee Indy losing again, and the Pats shouldn't lose unless they pull some starters.

Few other teams have the talent both of them have. Baltimore and Pitt will get plowed by NE. Few teams have the kind of protection both Brady and Peyton get, so I think that alone can add to many mistakes in our favor.

It will be a great rematch in the AFC divisional game.

i wouldnt be surprised to see the titans in the playoffs upset the colts and maybe tackle NE at the superbowl. Tennessee has started off the season kind of shaky but their playing has gotten better and they have the raw talent to do it.

So it's no big deal that the Pats get caught cheating by videotaping signals, but there's a conspiracy against the Pats D with PI AND there's crowd noise being pumped up in the RCA Dome? Hmmm...

A unit, you and your NE fans have been proven wrong in your "conspiracy theories".

NFL Clears Colts
By MICHAEL MAROT, AP Sports Writer
November 5, 2007

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- The Indianapolis Colts contend the debate about the decibel level in the RCA Dome is merely noise, and now they have the NFL taking their side.

A day after some unusual sounds were heard during the Colts-Patriots broadcast Sunday, the NFL issued a statement saying what sounded like simulated crowd noise was actually created by the CBS production crew, not the Colts.

"CBS has informed us that the unusual audio moment heard by fans during the Patriots-Colts game was the result of tape feedback in the CBS production truck and was isolated to the CBS broadcast," the league said. "It was in no way related to any sound within the stadium and could not be heard in the stadium."

Network officials did not give any additional details, referring only to the league's statement. The telecast received the highest rating overnight rating, 22.5, of any Sunday afternoon regular-season NFL game since at least 1987 and had a 39 share nationally.

The Web site YouTube carried a 1-minute, 10-second clip entitled "Indy Cheats" that replayed the moments in question.

On the first play of the fourth quarter, a 14-yard pass from Tom Brady to Randy Moss, the crowd noise is heard before and during the play, then immediately cuts out when Moss is tackled. In addition, there appeared to be a vibration in the sound while the crowd was cheering.

A published report on yahoo.com said Patriots president Jonathan Kraft complained to NFL vice president of security Milt Ahlerich afterward. Kraft is the son of Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

Any enhancement of crowd noise would violate NFL rules, and Patriots spokesman Stacey James denied the team either filed or intended to file a formal complaint with the league.

It's not the first time Indianapolis has been accused of such tactics. The Pittsburgh Steelers complained about the same thing after a 26-7 loss at the dome in November 2005. Since then, other teams have informally contended there is artificial noise pumped into the dome.

The Colts have continually denied the accusations, and issued their strongest worded statement yet on Monday.

"We trust this will put an end to the ridiculous and unfounded accusations that the Colts artificially enhanced crowd noise at the RCA Dome in any way," the team said.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick, no stranger to controversy, did not discuss those allegations during his regularly scheduled news conference Monday. Instead, Belichick said he was more concerned with communication problems he said existed between Patriots coaches and Brady.

"Basically, we didn't have a coach-to-quarterback operation, so we had to signal in all of the plays, which is unusual, but that's the way it was," he said. "What all was going on, I can't tell you, but I can tell you that, from a functional standpoint, the coach-to-quarterback was basically useless."

The latest accusations add yet another chapter to this already heated rivalry.

There have been complaints about leaving the field at Gillette Stadium uncovered the night before games and contentions Pats defenders were illegally holding receivers downfield.

Now there's crowd noise, communication issues and even something as simple as a postgame handshake between Colts coach Tony Dungy and Belichick, who quickly walked past Dungy as Dungy attempted to speak with him Sunday.

Dungy downplayed the incident.

"Bill is fine, he's a good guy, that's the way he is win or lose," Dungy said. "He's just an intense guy out there. I wouldn't describe it any way other than what it is."

I'll say this for the record:

Bill Belichick is a fvcking c0ck. He's a good coach (cheating c0cksucker and too arrogant against the NFL that he got caught and now every one in NFL management and policy watches his every move) but he's a poor sport for not shaking Dungy's hand after the game.

Say what you want about the Patriots but thier head coach fvcking sucks.

Speaking of boston sports, even the Boston Bruins are legit this year. Unbelievable.
