I recently talked to someone and they said that they would be starting this workout program and get shredded in 2 months. Anyone heard of this...? I saw some videos on youtube of some of the transformations and their is a difference but that should be normal with any exercise I assume. Any ideas...?:flowers:

Here's the website.

it's not rubbish. it does get you shredded, look at the before after pics. if you don't have muscle, you may look worse after shredding.

I've seen the Ab Ripper X program, and I use it as part of my gym routine now, I'll use their stretch, yoga and polymetrics programs too sometimes but the others are just too impractical to do at home.

Honestly, this is actually worth looking into for those 4 programs alone.

Interesting you bring this up because I just saw the infomercial this morning and it looks like it gives you results.

it looks alright for cutting or something... none of the video's i've seen have shown increases in muscle mass, just a lot of loss...roughly fat loss i guess.

Actually it works pretty well. My buddy used it and went from 6'0 215 to 6'0 195, toned up and got ripped. If you decide to do it, get ready to do a LOT of pullups. the Ab Ripper is ridiculous btw. You'll feel it for a week the first time you do it.

Not this again...

You're better off doing something like CrossFit to cut down.
If you don't have the muscle originally, you won't look shredded. On any cutting program.

Just curious, have any of you nay-sayers tried the program, or is all of the negative feedback based on your theory of what the program is?

...

I agree with what your saying EFFORT but from some of the people that I have talked to who are on it say that it's a lot tougher than it seems. They also claim that some of THEIR friends that have tried it also have yielded results. Now 2 of the people I know don't really have any muscle mass and one of the guys is kinda fat but I'll see how they are when I see them next time.

No magic in deadlifts and squats, check Ross Enamait. He deadlifted 495 lbs and can be later quoted saying that he "can count on his hands the amount of times he has deadlifted."

He does do dumbbell cleans, jerks and snatches though. Main point is, he lifts heavy.

Lifting heavy objects like barbells and dumb bells is definitely useful. The body itself can also provide enough resistance for strength training or bodybuilding. Resistance is resistance whether it comes from your body or an external weight.

I've seen the P90X commercial, and it definitely looks good. There are better things to do though.
