Most likely a rounded back on deadlifts, bent over rows or the T bar rowing (unless chest supported)...

rest your back, and eat lots of proteins and carbs with alow glycemic index while you are resting to reenergize your muscles.

If you are going heavy on the deadlift, you must keep the volume low (high intensity, low sets and reps). And 1-2 times a week max.

For everything else (including deadlifts) make sure you keep good form.

Thanks for the help guys, i reduced down the amount of sets I was doing and went down in weights and started checking my form better. no problems and feels much better , been going up in weights again.

lorekeeper: underdeveloped abs? must have looked over that one at first when i looked back at the replies for help. I dont really do any sort of ab work (weird i know but i really dont care if i ever get the 6pack was my thinking) ill look into it now.

Strengthening your lower abs helps alleviate a bunch of strain in your lower back. I have a herniated disc from deadlifting improperly and with too much weight. CORRECT YOUR FORM ASAP unless you want perpetual lower back pain
