"Over" to me usually means "too much". Depending on how deliberately she chooses her words, yes, it sounds like you are over doing the ****iness.

Girls like confidence and ****iness more than they will ever let on. And when most of them proclaim they don't like it, it's because they can't get you to go AFC for them.

However, listening to one ****y retort after another will get old for anyone. And even worse than that, is if it comes off like you're doing it so much because you're really insecure.

It's usually easy to recover from, though, as long as you didn't go way to far. Whenever a girl says something about my huge ego or ****iness, I laugh it off, but I kicked it down just a tad. She now knows your ****y, there's no need to keep doing it, just everyone once in a while to remind her who she's dealing with.

Often a girl will tell you this before she relinquishes to your frame. In other words, she feels threatened she is about to lose control.

The last thing you want to do is supplicate to her whim. Just continue being who you are and do not surrender to her request. She is just testing your character to see if you are for real or an actor.

Sometimes it is, and it some times it's coming off looking like a serious moron who has so little going on in there life that feel they constantly remind everyone how great they are.

Context is important here, and we don't have that. If he is going to far, it will definitely reverse the effect.

You're absolutely correct in saying it's a control issue though. The bottom line is when girls say they don't like ****iness, usually about the fact that confident guys know they have options, and guys with options don't have to supplicate women.

My favorite line from girls that I hear continuously is their "love confidence, but hate ****iness".

Yeah, right.. that's like saying "I love Royal blue, but I hate Navy blue."

The line is so fine there, you can't go from love to hate that easily. What they're really saying is you seem like you'll be tough to control.

Anyway, all that being said, if you just keep hitting her with ****iness comment after another and there's not much more going on, don't expect her to stick around for long.

She has won first place in the harem; not due to her surrender but rather her compatibility. If she keeps up the good behavior, she will work her way into exclusivity.

Let me be clear about something:

Women love to be hit on and love ****yness but some of them are control-freaks. If they sense that you cannot be controlled, they will sabotage their own chances to be with you just as a last ditch effort to try and control you. Not every woman is looking for a quality man (DJ), some were raised to be told that they must only find weak-willed men who they can control. It's not all black and white, there are many types of women out there and you must be aware of this fact. DO NOT CHANGE YOURSELF in order to QUALIFY YOURSELF to a woman who thinks you are too ****y/arrogant. If she doesn't like me for me, moving on to the next one.

Example:

Two nights ago I went to a sporting event and had a hot date with me who was having a great time with me. Another woman who has had her eye on me and has been chatting with me through e-mails sent me an e-mail saying "I think I saw you at the game. "

Well, clearly she saw me with my date, it's not hard to miss all that kino. So I sent her back a joke saying "I'm sorry you had to be so distracted from the game, maybe it won't be so bad when you're sitting next to me."

She said I thought too highly of myself and that a date with her in the future would be out of the question because i'm over-confident.

That is what "she said". I told her "Don't worry, I'd rather not waste my time on someone who has no sense of humor and takes everything too seriously."

The bottom line is, I can take a million other hot women out and joke, be confident, arrogant, ****y and they love it. One girl pretending she hates it is not going to make me change or qualify to her. She can go find a chump to control while i'm out having a great time with somebody else
