Just keep it clean and don't **** dirty ho's and you won't have any health issues. Like it or not it's a dying practice. Here in Canada, most hospitals only perform a handful of circumcisions a year now and that number is going down.
Whether or not you remember it doesn't matter. You wouldn't remember getting your foot cut off either, and think of all the health problems you could avoid: No athletes foot, no corns or bunions, no ingrown toenails? Doesn't mean you would like that done.
I'll be honest, because many people of my age are cut here, I use to worry about it. "What if girls find it gross?" But now I've found out any girl smart enough to get my attention doesn't give a damn, some even come to prefer it.
Just go on youtube and watch a circumcision video. If that doesn't make you wish nobody ever got it..
And I forget where I read this, but some doctors were doing a study on the effectiveness of the sub par anesthetics they have developed for the procedure. So they had to compare the signs of distress on babies getting it done with or without anesthetic. They couldn't even finish the study because they decided doing it without was too cruel. Yet plenty of people don't request anesthetic for their kids, and if they do, it's fairly dangerous for such a young child. There is a reason parent's never go into the surgery room, even though it would probably help ease the baby's anxiety- they'd feel like **** for doing it.
I'm not saying you should hate your parents for it, but just ask yourself this: Is it really worth it to get a totally unnecessary, extremely painful procedure, just because everyone else does it?
