Okay, synopsis:
I'm planning on asking out a girl whom I go to high school with. She is very intelligent (I believe she has a 4.3 or above as a Sophmore, at a college prep school, which is actually supposedly the 59th best HS in the country, but I digress) She is also very musically talented, last summer she spent four weeks in Germany where she was given a scholarship to go to a music college for Piano. On top of that, she is very nice, and exceedingly beautiful.
She has, I think, for a fairly long while been interested in me. That by no means indicates that I am quite as amazing, more that there is limited selection in our school and she and I are a good match as it seems.
Finally, she and I have an ongoing joke about the whole Mac vs PC debacle. I personally am very highly pro PC's, I dislike many of Apple's moves both in hardware and software development. She however, has a father who works for apple, and thus is very Pro-mac.
So here's what I want the opinion on. I wanted to do something kind of clever to ask her out, something memorable and sweet, as she hasn't dated anyone before to the best of my knowledge. My plan was to create a brief stop motion animated film, which involved an Apple (symbolizing that I have transcended my dislike for Jobs in my feelings for her) rotating around to reveal a hole in the shape of a heart. In this whole would be a note, which would unfold, carrying a note which I would obviously write my (most likely sappy) message upon.
Do you think that is a cute idea? I know it'll be a fair amount of work, but I love to do videographic stuff and my friend has offered to help me. Thanks in advance!
