I was at a job information session today and went up to the recruiter towards the end ready to give her my info and to ask questions when I saw her looking at me 'that way' while other people were talking to her. (Just earlier today women kept looking at me at a job fair too)

My turn came and I started asking her questions about the next step for the interview etc but I couldn't help noticing her enormous pupils. It was almost as big as her eyeball, and I've looked into many eyes of girls attracted to me and I've never seen anything this big (The room was well lit and I had good bodylanguage, also no ring).

I normally don't hesitate and would straight off # close, and this is what my gut instinct tells me to do, but I don't want the personal aspect to mess with the professional one. Now, I don't work at this company yet, and don't know if I will get an interview from them, but it'd be a shame to let her go if I don't end up working there. She'll come recruiting at our program tomorrow and I would ask her to grab coffee with me if she weren't the job recruiter.

I appreciate your opinions on catching this fish.

Work comes before HOs. If its a potential work opportunity then its just that... if not then get her number.

A partner at my firm has a saying for this: Don't stick your meat where you make your bread.

I've seen it go awry way too many times.

You don't even have a job there either.

This can go one of three ways:

1-Ask her and she accepts now for 1a and 1b--

1a: your resume goes to the bottom of the pile because, as a recruiter, she has some issues with promoting your application and being interested in you.

1b: she promotes your application anyway

2 - she says no and you've killed your application

Let's say you have a 50-50 chance of getting the job, an 80% chance of landing her, and a 25% chance that if you do land her, your resume gets dumped.

You just saw the chance of you getting the job drop to 30%

Even if she is interested, what do you think the chances of you being w/ her 2 months down the road are (assuming your into the idea of that)??

Just get her business card. After you get a job, give her a call.
