Look at this kid.... he spend a year or two in the Highschool forum at age 14-15, thinks he's "graduated" and now ventures out into the main forum with a melon-head 'big, bad boy' attitude.

Yeah, I do... in fact, so do all my family, friends, academic advisors, and professors. Are you implying I didn't?

I sincerely apologize, I’m so so sorry if my confidence and self-pride offends you… o wait, no I’m not.

I'm not going to let some kid who's still in hs call me an idiot because I (and the other 4k males) hold doors for ladies at my college and then try to tell me about the "real world".

Listen it's just common sense. You hold a door for someone- guy or girl- it's called RESPECT. some people are too far up their own azz to have it.

Situation:
if you had a ton of sh!t you were carrying, and no one opened the door for you, and you dropped it all trying to open it, you would be pissed? no?

the concept is the same. Girls especially like having nice things done for them. Do it in moderation.

Dont do it all the time, or make it a habit w/ girls. Do it everynow and then, and when they say thank you (and they will), just brush it off and say "your welcome"

simple as that- no need to be an azz, unless the situation calls for it.
there's a time to be a d!ck, and a time to be nice.
holding doors is just one of those nice RESPECTFUL things you should do (esp for older women in their 30's or so)

Bytch, sit yo' ass back down. I wasn't even talking to you.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

If they're behind quite a distance, maybe 4-5 strides, I just open the door and keep going.

WTF IS SO HARD PEOPLE. YOU JUST GO WITH WHAT'S COMFORTABLE. IT'S LIKE EVERY MOVE YOU MAKE IT DONE TO PLEASE THE WOMEN. WHAT THE ****. SERIOUSLY JUST WHAT THE **** IS GOING ON. IT'S A ****ING DOOR OPEN IT, WALK THROUGH LIKE "LEFT RIGHT LEFT RIGHT" AND GO WHERE YOU'RE GOING.

who gives a sh!t, just do it. if a girl is turned off by something as minor as HOLDING A DOOR OPEN, you don't want the skank anyway.

Becuase changing their oil and rotating their tires would take me hours, holding a door, seconds.

i dont hold doors for people all the time. everynow and then, i will hold a door open for a girl, just cuz i feel like being nice. i dont have to like the girl, or even be interested in her- i just hold the door.

holding a door for a girl- like i said b4 is just respect- really to me, it doesnt mean i'm gonna get this girl cuz i held a door for her or vise versa if i didnt

As stated before, it's a form of respect, you went through the proccess of pushing the door, you might as well hold it for a couple of seconds.

I remember one time I was walking and there was a couple right behind me, I opened the door, and held it open, the girl was a stride ahead of the guy, she walks through and didn't say thanks or any thankful gesture, and the guy was about to walk through the door (had a "I'm a bad ass" look on his face, I can tell from his body language that he wasn't going to thank me or even make eye-contact with me), so I slammed the door right in his face and started walking away, he didn't even come after me 'cause he's a bytch.

** Moral of the story: if you're with your girl, make sure to walk ahead of her when you're at a door, and if some guy is holding the door for you, you should walk through, thank him, and hold the door for your girl. The guy is not a hellhop. (unless he is a hellhop, but that's another story lol) **

If a woman gets pissed at you for opening a door then she's the most irritating type of feminist. If you open it for her and she doesn't even acknowledge it, she's either high-maintenace or just plain rude. This could also be a good way to weed those out.

I think opening the door is normal, not just for women but in general (although women will give you brownie points if she's not one of the above.) It's not AFC unless you obviously go completely out of your way to do it. If you're walking together there's no harm.

I love Southern men when they do things like that. My friend from Georgia was once visiting Boston and he gave up his seat to a woman there and she cussed him out. What a b1tch, do you really think he thinks you're incapable of standing up? Women like that should be shot.

She cussed him out 'cause he offered his seat? How did he react?

But could he do? He's a sweet Georgian guy so he did the only thing he could do: blush and look embarassed. If I had been there I would have cussed HER out.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
I open the door for ANYONE if it's not too inconvenient for me. Men, women, children, I at LEAST give them the hold-it-open-from-behind.

WTF...it's a fvcking door. If you're getting upset over a goddam door, you need to get over yourself.

Ok, you're right, changing oil and rotating tires does only take a few minutes... at a Nascar pitstop!

I'm assuming that's where you got the "work in a group of men" idea.
