Opening Minute

I am good at picking up drunks but struggling at the moment with 'normal' 'girlfriend material' girls. I am good looking but not good looking enough to blow girls away in the first minute with my looks.

What would help is if I could deliver the killer knock out line or joke in the first 30 seconds of conversation. Has anyone got any suggestions?

I'm kidding. Dumb joke.

I heard "How you doin'?" works as an ice breaker, but I haven't tried it in the field.

"Can I buy you a drink? no? How about 10?" heh heh.

It not so much what you say, but how you say it. You could have a "killer line", but if you lack confidence and don't know how to project the right message, its worthless. One thing I have been doing in my everyday interaction with women is to work on things such as body posture, eye contact, and my attitude. My goal is to project that I am completely comfortable with myself, I am a dominant male, and that the woman I am looking at or talking to may be hot, but I could careless wether I **** her or not. When I am projecting the right attitude, the response I get from woman is dramatically different then when I project an attitude that of an AFC.

I think I have the 'high how are' thing down pat and the 'how do you know ?' etc. But there must be more I can say in the first minute to knock the girl off her feet. I can do it if I have 5 minutes but strugle in the first minute when it really counts

Stay away from lines. No matter how good they sound, smart women can usually tell that it's a line. When they do, the first thing they think is how many other women you've used it on and that they will not be the one to fall for it. Then you have knocked yourself out.

Here is a suggestion, work on being able to comment on anything in your immediate environment. It shows her that you are dynamic and original.

I totaly, agree some people have this come more naturaly to them then others, I'm fairly whitty by nature, but sometimes it falls out of practice.. You really do have to work with what is around you, be able to pick things up and comment on them possibly humour....
