You are certainly quite the hottie. I don't really need to tell you that, as I am sure a million and a half guys before me have made you aware of that fact-but it is a good icebreaker! Can you tell me more about you?

Anyway, you can check out the great work of literary genius that is my profile, and if you find me worthy of your attention you can write me here or at xxxxx and it is at y a h 0 0, and we can take it from there and perhaps meet over a cup of coffee.

Take care,
Mark"
I have no idea dude why are you so persistent with letter that show you have a huge AFC side. Many of us do have it, but thats not a good enough reason to show it.

From the let go you give her a huge direct compliment. Pretty girls hear that all the time. Dont believe me? Try saying that in CA:
"Hi, You are certainly quite the hottie!" and see that 100% of pretty women would cringe and run away. They instantly will put their b*tch shield!!!

"if you find me worthy of your attention" - it is like you already put yourself so much below her level... it doesnt create attraction at all....

Notice use of the term Icebreaker and hottie.

"if you find me worthy of your attention" - it is like you already put yourself so much below her level... it doesnt create attraction at all....-I was trying to be subtly fecious, like that old saturday night live skit. Also with a similar sarcastic tone as how Howard Stern, for instance, might use it.

Besides, if she is beautiful but literally leaves everyting else blank, what else is there for me to comment on but her looks, even in a slightly sarcastic manner?

Oaky, how about this one...does it make me appear too arrogant/narcissistic, even though I am doing it in a joking manner?

"Anyway, you can check out the great work of literary genius that is my profile, if you think I am as cool as I think I am ļ you can write me here or at xxxxx and it is at y a h 0 0, and we can take it from there and perhaps meet over a cup of coffee."

And another version that gets rid of that line altogether, but in the process may come across as too presumptuous-

"Anyway, you can check out the great work of literary genius that is my profile, and then you can write me here or at cccc and it is at y a h 0 0, and we can take it from there and perhaps meet over a cup of coffee."

or if I just want to sound plain like any other ordinary AFC guy-

"Anyway, you can check out my profile, and if you find something of interest you can write me here or at xxxx and it is at y a h 0 0, and we can take it from there and perhaps meet over a cup of coffee."

-at least that one doesn't come across as me trying too hard. but it sounds like the 1000 other letters attractive women on there get. I am not good looking enough or attractive enough to be ordinary, I need something that will "shock and awe" them without coming across as trying too hard.

Yes, it makes sense.. but it is not powerful enough. You can convey your sarcastic tone in person - no problem. But in a very first letter it is tough: no emotions, no tone of voice....

Icebreak - ok, yes, it is an icebreak. But it is like a little bike with an engine of 0.0004 HP - yeah, it's great - small and it can drive you to the next block..but I would not call it a means of transportation. Same here: it doesnt have enough power to be a good icebreak in email. Just imagine: can you say somehting similar in real life, pull it off? No! Because it has a big compliment most women are scared of.

Her blank: a) focus on her pic, is there anything unusual in teh background? abut her outfit? Her hair? Her pose? Comment on it with something funny..."Your hat is going to be popular in... a couple of years. Did you get it from your grandma?" Too much? but if she is pretty she needs a good neg hit.
If she doesnt take it - she is uptight and pretty - which you dont even want to deal with.
b) comment on her hobbies, fav things. Did she anything?

This version is the best: you dont come as an AFC, and you force her to detect your sarcasm - at least something that most guys do not do.

"shock and awe" - since all women are different, it is not possible to compose a great generic letter.
You have to comment, ask her about somehting she likes or writes...with some C&F twist.
Obviously it is not that easy, but doable. You already have some sarcastic phrases...note, funny ones are much better.
Try to compose something funny or amusing, you can always add something ****y - it is much easier.

A decadent dinner so good we could eat it with our bare hands, both of us satisfied but eager to see the dessert tray

and my response-

Sounds good- I, too, believe it is important to be passionate about each other on all levels just like you described. I also have a great sense of humor. In fact, I take my sense of humor very seriously- because I believe that a sense of humor is very important and is no joking matter.

However, I must confess to you one thing that I feel it is important for you to know before we get started on our budding romance- I am not quite over games yet, I still like to play Monopoly and Chess on occassion.

Can you tell I am actually having fun writing this?...but down to business....

...if you are sufficiently impressed by the great work of literary genius that is my profile:), you can write me here or at raz351 and it is at y a h 0 0, and we can take it from there and perhaps meet over a cup of coffee, or even a decadent dinner so good we could eat it with our bare hands, both of us satisfied but eager to see the dessert tray :)

Take care,

Mark

Her profile is the most generic profile I ever seen. In fact it seem I have seen like 50 profiles like hers. They all copy one text!!!
It is an ultimate women cliche....I look for a prince.
The actual situaton: she is probably too pretty, afraid to go cheap on a dating market and her relatively not low salary doesnt allow her to choose anyone.

She is not promising... but anyway:

If you want to state "I have a sense of humor" be ready to back it up with specifics: for example: "it was honed\perfected\keeped in a good shape by visitin XXX comedy clubs."
or "I usually have the best sense of humor after a visit to a movie theater, how do you keep it in shape?"...
Just try to twist somehting, show its unusual side, it could be its funny side as well.

Games: well..."I am over games too: Monopoly was my favorite... now I play it real: <make real estatae more realistic... etc>"
If you refer to games, you risk to be associated with "games" anyway, plus no women would appreacite your passion for chess.
Monopoly is fine, but it is much better to "twist" it and hint that you are not that poor...that you work, you succeed, you like what you do by telling her some SPECIFICS as I showed above.
