Thanks for posting a short convo that can actually be read. Most guys post huge epic conversations with girls on here.

I'm just going to put out my pet peeve here. PLEASE write intelligibly online. It makes me want to kick people's faces when they talk like "how r U 2nite." It makes you look completely uneducated.

Other than that, asking her questions and following up always works. Keeps her talking about her favorite person on earth: herself.

At least you got the number kid. Important thing to remember is that instant messenging of any sort should be more of a "supplement" rather than your primary tool. Nothing boosts the confidence and increases your "skills" more than getting out there. If you need to, set some meetings up with a girl you met online, keep the online convos to a minimum.

i try to keep my online talking as intelligent as possible. but im not going to sit there and use all my elite grammar skills to make every sentence the best ever written.

i agree too, only after i read it, i realized i shouldve busted on her more.

i had a feeling it was fake when she said that it might change soon, so i asked my friend(her best friend) and she confirmed lol. she told me that the girl showed her the convo and that i got the number too fast. this particular girl likes to get to know the guy before she gives him her number. She also gave me a few pointers lol: she told me to say things that make girls blush. dont be like every other average joe or she will think " o god another loser"

For what its worth some girls are kind of wierd about giving out their numbers. I know some pretty hip girls that won't give a guy their number if they just met a guy. Some girls are just overly cautious about it.

However, that's no excuse to give a fake number. She should have just said "I don't like to give out my number to people I just met." That's a lot more respectable than giving out a fake one.

so this girl is someone you semi know (ie through friends) and she gives you a fake number, thats just stupid. Although she left the door open as she said shes changing them soon.

Aim has its use. Most people say that you should call to setup a date and that the converstation shouldnt be long. All you should be doing in the convo is setting up the date. Does that really have to be done over the PHONE because your not really using any of the "DJ skills" since your not really having a conversation, you are just setting a time and place to meet. For that purpose i thought AIM would be a good substitute. The only CON there is, is that you would constantly be avalible for them. That can be solved by creating a seperate SN used only to setup dates with them.

the reason i use AIM more then most people advise is because of the phone bill lol. I use my phone to talk to friends and im afraid that if i started calling every single girl by phone, i would quickly run out of minutes and would get charged alot more then i should.

The way I see it is that verbal communication is like 8% of all communication. voice tonality makes up 20/30-something% I think, so you are able to convey more through the phone. I usually talk for a few minutes on phone then tell them to meet up.

On the subject of IM convos I was wondering if one of the guys here could be so kind as to read my post and tell me if HB likes me. This was about a week ago, I can get girls easy enough but I still fall in oneitis trap. I then start analysing everything and the girls say its because Im scorpio. Anyway this is the convo, I never mentioned HB but I wanted to talk about her so mysmooth talking got me on the subject about work experience. This is starting from where I said where I went:

I asked her that because I acted like a prick to HB a few days before this chat. She ignored me for the rest of the day the next day but eventually started talking to me again she seems colder since though. How do you make a girl become friendly with you again? Sometimes shes friendly when I manage to start talking to her cause Im a smooth talker but othertimes how can I put it... *****:-D.
My theory is the more girls fancy you and the more girls you can get the harder you fall for the girls you cant get. I think this because the same is exactly true for the opposite, hot girls fall for men who treat them like theyre not hot babes which is why negs, C&F, takeaways and all the rest works.
If you guys think shes not interested it dont matter all that much anyway, but it would definetly be nice.

If a girl doesn't like me thats cool, not their fault they got bad taste.
