oneitis.... dont know how to handle the situation....

so you guys think i should still be friend with her not, not more or not giving her any attention at all, and **** around..... i dont really know how to handle the up coming party we have on Saturday where she'll be at....

I don't think you should be friends with her but I think that you should be friendly to her when and if your paths cross.

Play it cool bro, as if nothing ever occured between you two.

Be as you normally are (without being the friendly afc you have been in recent memory) and become very social at this party. Have people laughing at your jokes or whatever your strong suit in speaking is.

Unless she has absolutely zero interest in you, she'll be curious to see what you got going.

Just dont fall for her trap again. Keep it going and make yourself scarce. Gonna warn you, you're in the friend zone so this may all be too little too late, but its hella good practice.

This is good in theory but its also too ideal. If he's really suffering from oneitis he's going to be bubbling up with emotions at that party when he sees her and won't be able to play this cool laid back fun guy that doesn't care. If anything he'll be trying to at like he doesn't care to get a reaction out of his oneitis and thats just coming from the wrong place.

In my opinion you need to cut her out 100%. If shes around people you know just don't be there, avoid her at all cost. The sure cure for oneitis is 100% removal of her from your life +GFTOW. Also a longer term solution is finding out what your purpose is and getting in alignment with that. (read the way of the superior man) Once you do this you'll no longer be reactive to women, other people,oneitis etc, since your purpose is beyond these things.

she is in my immediate circle of friends.. avoiding her is avoiding them... and i'm not sure putting energy into avoiding her at all cost would only reinforce the problem really...

I went through one of the same deals... cut off all contact with her....talk to other HBs, and go sarging.
