This just hit me
One reason why AFC-ism is in full bloom is movies - 99% of them, not just Disney and unicorns crap.
It occured to me that in movies, female characters dialogues are written mostly by men so dialogues are logical and make sense. We grew up with movies, this alone created an expectation that chicks are rational creatures.
This insidious expectation is deeply embeded in most men since childhood and it can only be blown to h3ll by the red pill.

Don't forget the other side. Many TV shows and movies are also written by females so the men are written in that nice guy AFC way in the things they say and do. Especially a lot of sitcoms, teen drama etc. Guys watching those grow up thinking that's the way you should treat girls or thinking girls want to be treated that way. I would name some shows but I don't want to offend some people's tastes on here.

Watch Californication, whoever wrote Hank Moody's character was not an AFC and knew what they were going for in his character.

But in general writers stick to what sells and heart warming tales of love conquering all sells better than the guy who leaves the girl for someone else after a few months. Entertain and feel good factor come over reality.

The media is definitely a HUGE part of the problem. Even though TV and movies are total crap for the most part.. we have a hard time totally separating them from reality because it seems real while we are watching it.

The human brain is designed to believe what it sees if what it sees seems realistic. We are more impressionable than we think and we believe more of the media's crap than we think we do.

The media usually portrays women as moral authorities who are usually innocent, harmless and full of good intentions. A woman's motives are rarely questioned while men's motives are always questioned and its usually men who "screw up" or are "wrong" in any situation where there is conflict between a male and a female.

The message is WOMEN ARE ALWAYS RIGHT. This is a very false, toxic and dangerous stereotype to perpetuate to young impressionable minds. Women grow up believing men should submit to their selfish whims while men grow up believing they should let women rule them. :crazy:

Women are rarely portrayed as evil or selfish. Instead they are portrayed as emotional, sensitive, innocent and crazy. As a result.. men are reluctant to punish women for evil acts. Such acts are dismissed as PMS, craziness or a reaction to abuse.

This is why women get lesser punishments for the same crimes and people laugh when a woman cuts off a man's pen!s.

women are huge consumers, they have more spending power now than ever beofre, they are however more gullible and susceptible to the psychology of sales than men are. the media and society tell women any old sh!t they want and they mostly believe it. One of the downsides is that there is a lot wrong in the world, at home, in relationships, at work etc etc, someone has to be responsible, very subtley, and not so in some cases men are made to look incompetant, fools, inadequate, many men seem to accept and adopt this role as if its the truth, a lot of men just keep quiet.
