This is an important realisation, and one everyone should hold on to.BigSmooth said:Because no one is the supreme master of the universe 100% of the time.
HOWEVER. You can learn to read your mood and thought patterns, and spend your time in a way that compliments how you're feeling.
Feeling productive? Get on with something important to you.
Feeling your game? Go find a woman and enjoy yourself.
Feeling down? Do something that will improve your mood.
Feeling lazy? Well, sleep is important... And hopefully your mood will change when you wake up.
It's important not to do things that totally clash with your mood. If you're feeling slow and dull, you don't really want to be meeting women - you have a high chance of having a bad experience in this state which will negatively influence your future and your self-perception.
It's also a snowball effect - the more you get in touch with your moods and thought patterns, the better you learn to deal with them in the best way, and the more control you'll eventually have over them.
