I have known a girl for some time now, and we went to prom together b/c she asked me to go. We had a decent time. Even after prom, we talked to each other almost every day in school. However, for some reason, she seems to be avoiding me on AIM constantly, although we talked on AIM every day before prom. Whenever I say hi to her, she goes away or even logs off. Does she hate me? What's going on?

Your letting it work you up, she has decided that you got a little too close and she doesn't want to lead you on. Unfortunately if you try to get closer, she will force you to back off. and if you try to re-establish the friendship the way it was before the prom, she will force you to back off anyway thinking your still trying to get close. You're just gonna have to write this one off and move on, until she makes the first move and re-establishes the friendship and by that time, you're probably not interested anyway. phew...

the above is BULLS*IT.

She liked you, she gave you a chance to be her boyfriend and you didn’t bite the bait and she got tired of chasseing you, now she's probably found someone else who will bite at the bait she puts out.

Stop overusing IMs...at first it's alright...but after awhile it's annoying as hell when someone logs on and sends you a message within 5 seconds of getting on. It shrieks desperation. She's probably avoiding you because you made a habit of monopolizing her time online by keeping her stuck on AIM. That's why I refuse to use any IMs...hate them.

If you want to send messages online just use email.

It's not BS...it's true. I used to use IM to talk to a few people here and there. However, I made the mistake of giving my IM name to a couple of guys from an online dating site and they drove me up the wall. If I opened the Instant Messenger they were on...waiting...lurking...and within 3 seconds they were already IMing me stuff like "About time you logged on!", "There you are!", etc, etc. It got to the point that I just uninstalled the thing and have never used it since. The only thing worse than a clingy guy is a clingy guy who clings via Instant Messenger. The best way to avoid coming across as an IM clingon is NEVER IM the other person first...NEVER.

I don't think she hates you dude. Its just that after awhile you shouldn't rely on AIM to talk to her. Talk to her IRL and see what she thinks of you. Don't forget the kino

Did you screw her after the prom and *** on her face? And didn't even call her the next day to say you had a good time? That would piss any chick off royal.
