I have to agree and I'm a game of thrones fan. This is indeed the worst season. I think there is only 3 more episodes left too.

too much gay sex.
The gay stuff has been pretty PG if I remember correctly. Mostly kissing, no graphic sex.

In a show with beheadings, cannibalism, rape and torture, and castration the "gay stuff" should be among the least objectionable things to someone.

As a status-seeking sh!tlib friend of the gays I say MOARRRRRR! Lezzies too while we're at it.

That rape scene with Sansa, Ramsay, and Reek was pretty uncomfortable, I never like watching rape, be it male or female, on screen.

Aye. I don't think that happened in the books, but we already know the producers want to take the canon in a different simplified direction. It just felt like a plot line to turn up the notch on ratings. We already know Ramsey's a twisted individual for what he has shown he's capable of doing with other women and Theon/Reek.

Do you know how I know your mind is still warped by feminism? This post right here.

Why?

Because Sansa wasn't raped. Oh by all means, please get caught up in all the news storylines detailing this "horrific rape scene" and how the actors were just appalled by it and on and on.

Please stick with the facts here.

1. Sansa knew what she was doing. No one would force her to marry and if she did, Littlefinger would have heard about it and sh!t would have been taken care of.

2. Sansa wanted to be the Lady of Winterfell. Only one way now to make that happen. Gee I wonder what it was??!?

3. Since Sansa knew being Lady of Winterfell meant getting married, and it meant getting married to Ramsay, she also knew she'd have to give up the puss. After all, she'd be his WIFE

4. The law in Westeros states she's now his WIFE. Again, emphasis now on this word WIFE. Let's suppose Sansa did go crying to the king or whoever the hell that she was raped. What then? Suppose the king called Ramsay into trial with accusations of rape. Ramsay simply says "What law have I broken your grace? I was engaged in intimate relations with my WIFE"

5. And lastly we have Theon displaying shock and tears at watching this. Get real. Theon would have banged her if he had the chance. Yes, I have read the books. A much more accurate reaction would be Theon sitting quietly watching every detail.

The story of this show depicts sex that likely happened in a pretty realistic manner in this fictional story. The feminist PR reps are certainly out in force this week.

Also, agree that this season is so far pretty weak in general.

I think this is really stupid. All they did was make a Joffrey 2.0. We already had the pointlessly sadistic guy.

Also, Sansa wasn't raped. She married the guy then willingly did everything he asked in that scene. She's also a boring character that does nothing but say one liners every 3rd episode while having a sh1tty look on her face constantly. Anything involving her I'm just waiting for them to cut to almost any other storyline.

My dad doesn't mind gay people. He grew up in the city and is civilized. Actually considers them great neighbors.

Luckily the law in the real world say that a wife can refuse and a husband can be charged with rape. And that is how the scene is judged. Pretty sure it is written as a rape.

Theon would have banged her if he had the chance.
That would be difficult.

In the books Theon is actually forced to participate though. It could've been worse.

Is this why you, BB and the rest of modern media is getting so bent out of shape over this? You can't separate fiction from reality. Let's also not forget that in the scene Sansa was undressing herself. Slowly, but she was undressing. The fact that Ramsay rips her clothes off and bends her over...who cares. If Sansa had finished stripping on her own she likely would have been moaning in the same manner she did during this supposed "rape" scene.

Sorry, but where is the rape here? There never was one.

Also, yes, I forgot Theon serves as the fluffer in the books, however Sansa wasn't there at all.

I use my real world values to judge the fiction I see. Which is healthier than the opposite.

I didn't get that impression at all. Nothing in the scene tells me Sansa was enjoying it. Indeed it is implied pretty obviously that Sansa is cooperating only due to Ramsay and his wench's veiled threats and that she is in pain and sad during the scene. Plus it's obvious that she's being forced to have sex in another man's presence, a man she loathes.

Dude, it's a forced sexual act, it's rape. Perhaps you are unable to separate your own reality from their fiction.

Other scenes aren't really being judged, like men being castrated or having their eyes gouged out in a gruesome death. This one scene is a non-issue.

Rape (which this scene wasn't) is not worse than death or torture and these things happen in every episode yet this causes all the commotion and it's not even on screen as it should be. It's nonsensical from the belly aching of those offended to the fact that they feel they can't have a rape on screen but can have grisly murders. I feel worse for the guy immolated and eaten the week before than I do any woman being raped. The perspective on things is all fvcked.
