Leandro Lo getting shot to death in Brazil.. in case what I'm referring to isn't clear.

Here's how it is. If you're gonna have as much faith in your art as BJJ people tend to have in theirs, you damn well better be literally bulletproof.

By that metric.. I can't bring myself to feel sorry for anyone involved here.

From what has been revealed about the incident, the guy who shot him was an ego-charged maniac. In which case, he obviously deserves whatever comes to him.

As for Leandro.. well gee, maybe if he trained in a rEaL martial art like BJJ, this wouldn't have hap-
