"oh, we've met before"

So..I noticed a while back that I would "re-meet" women that I actually had met before. On two occasions in the last two months a woman has introduced herself to me and I've had to casually smile and remind them that "oh, we've met before...didn't quite catch your name the first time though"

on both occasions, the results were great. They showed higher I.L. than the first time we met and then made an effort to thwart the insecurity they felt from not specifically remembering....(although they both DID remember and mentioned where we HAD met)
So...just as a test, I tried this on a couple of women that I actually had not met before...and the results were the same - high I.L. - got numbers and they put out a real effort. ....now I know this is dishonest to a certain degree but it is an interesting way to throw their guard off (only works if they introduce THEMSELVES to YOU) and make them work harder for your attention....My theory is that they start thinking that maybe they didn't make a good enough impression the first time for you to go out of your way to get their contact information, so this time they're gonna make it right and be SURE that you know how to hook up with them.

...Again..it's slightly dishonest and I'm not necessarily condoning anyone utilizing this as part of their regular game but it seems to work.

No this is a bad idea. Women get this all the time. The girl I am seeing right now is always approached and gets this exact line. The guy usually fumbles and makes up some bs excuse of where they met.

IF you HAVE met her before or have seen her around I would agree that it's useful to bring it up. Otherwise, don't lie and say "youve seen her before". She will smell your bs.
