Ok so a girl that I'm friends with basically just pronounced her love for me. SH!T. I don't know how to deal with that. I like her as a friend but nothing else. I don't know what to say back to let her know that it's not reciprocal but that I still think she's a cool friend.

I usually don't come to this board for stuff like this anymore but I can't deal with this kind of stuff.

What should I say back?

This girl just proclaimed her love to you... anything you say will seem to her like a rejection if you don't say I love you back to her...

So the best thing you can do is simply say... I like you as a friend but nothing else... which is exactly how you feel...

The girlfriend manuever. If she's a good friend, it probably won't work, as she knows you're life.

Hell, if chicks can lie about having a boyfriend, we can lie and say we have a girlfriend.

That way, you can still be her buddy, just one who is already taken.

If she knows you're single, and thinks you have a problem with women, then KIND honesty is your best bet.
