If it satisfies you, more power to you. That doesn't satisfy me. Very little of 'science' is observed anyway. Most of it just makes me laugh.

The hard truth IMO is that there is an intelligent designer of the universe, at the very minimum.

try to study then the origin of some religions, muslim and catholic are most easy to find out, some more new also are.

but all religion is not meant for teach morals/ enforce a set of rules, its all about control, rome started to use catholic religion because was more easy to let people follow that then force then to the old religion, same witht eh old bread and blood coliseums the whole things was just a show to let people vent so tehy could keep the population under control,

monogamy was more likely invented so men could make sure the kids comming from that woman was his, hence why the older son was always the most important, he took her as a virgin so that boy would be his, after the first time unless he keep her locked there was not way to be sure anything after would be his, polygamy was just a way for powerfull men have several kids, remember polygamy in religion is always men having several woman, not woman having more then one men

btw

the hard truth is everything is chaos there is not relation on anything, everything happens, no one can control, saying there is someone controling thing is just a way to make yourself feel better and not alone, far easier to take a miserable life when you belive after this one you will get to a better place, then taking in for what it is, your life is your own only you can make it better or worse, everything who happens in your life is your fault, be by action or inaction, there is no savior and no one to guide you, you are on your own

And regarding morals, where did they come from?
I recommend you read the book, "A Farewell to Alms," by economist Gregory Clark.

It goes through extreme (often times boring) detail about how and why the industrial revolution started in England.

Long story short:

Morals (as a christian would describe them) are good for business.

Those that had the genes for strong "Christian" morals did better in business, and made more money. And for the five hundred years or so leading up to the industrial revolution, people in England who made more money had more kids. (1300-1800).

The English outlawed slavery, they outlawed the death penalty, and during that time (1300-1800) violent crime consistently decreased, including the murder rate.

Interestingly enough, the free market interest rates (which according to some economists is equal to the aggregate time preference of society) also declined.

People that had bad morals (cheating, stealing, etc) weren't consistently successful enough to pass on those genes.

I doubt this. Why would they, if not for morals? And regarding morals, where did they come from?
Alvafe touched on this. The man wants the woman to be monogamous because it ensures that his sperm/his DNA alone is passed on through the woman. The woman wants the man to be monogamous so that he spends his energy and resources on caring for her and her offspring, rather than focusing on other women (possibly to the point of abandoning her altogether).

I've never agreed with the PUA notion that religion cooked up the idea of monogamy to shove down our throats. It's a very natural and effective survival strategy. Humans are versatile and can choose from using different strategies, that's what makes our species successful. I am not attacking morality. To the contrary, most moral tenets have good and practical reasons behind them. Again, I disagree with PUAs who try to demonize morality and dismiss it as merely a useless social construct.
