SO I started a thread earlier about this chick I was into and talking to a dance. Check it out here:: http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=190670 And skim through it and the situation at that point.
VERY Long story.. sorry, but bear with me one this. this is mainly the whole night, cant chronicle EVERYTHING, but this is the important stuff.
So the dance finally rolls around,,,,,,,
I pick her up and we take some pictures at her house with her family and my mother. Then we head out to my buddy's house to meet up with the whole group. I introduce her to everyone because she only knows a few people. We (my buddies and I) got a party bus, because his dad owns it, and it was totally wicked! 20 passenger with leather seats all around, lights with strobes, bumping bass and a stripper pole..hahah. That was pretty neat. But more about the date and my night::
After dinner, we head to the place of the dance. Now it is being held in a church building because of the sheer size of our school, and this church hall is HUGE. She, lets just call her Sally, had expressed her concerns about it and I somewhat felt the same, but I soon got over it. It did not have a church feel or look to it at all.
Walking from the bus to the building, she did not want my jacket, besides numerous offers and it being freezing and I put my are around her to hug and she shrugged it off. I was just like "huh", whatever. So we, the group, go into the dance and the music is bumping (too much maybe and the bass was off a little, but some people were still dancing). She DOES NOT want to dance at all.. I try singing to her playfully and lightly grabbing her arms and stuff.. But nope. She tells me she is going to find her friends and I stay with my group, while they are all dancing with their dates.
15mins later I find her and she still wont dance, she keeps saying how awkward it is and she just wants to go home. My car was at my buddies house though. "Luckily", her mom was chaperoning and had her car, so we went home to her house. We leave the dance at 10ish, just 1hr after we arrived. She changed out of her dress and took out her hair. Then we just talked, sitting opposite ends of the couch. My night so far was crap and I was just being quiet, and she asked if she ruined my night but i said "no". She then continued to make normal conversation with me, saying how she just wished she could hang out with me..
We have to go back to the dance right before midnight, so we can take the bus back to the house, and get my car. We are all (the whole group) hungry so we go to ihop and eat, driving our own cars( me and sally in mine). There is a wait so we are just sitting there. Finally we get our food and eat and she wants to pay so i just let her..
She wants to just be dropped off home so we go to her house, i get her coat from my car (where she wanted to leave it) and we get out. I hand it to her, and hug her and leave.
I drove around for a good 30 mins, doing random donuts in parking lots(in the snow) and then got home at 330 and went to bed.
Next day I have an orchestra concert and I am talking with some friends over dinner before it. One of the mentions sally coming over(while she said that she was going to find her friends) and mentioning something about a boyfriend and me not knowing?? SO my friend(a girl) next to me call another good friend of sally's and who was there and sure enought she has a boyfriend who goes to another school.. I dont not know how long, but it can have been too long..
It also makes sense because she has been texting this "friend" (as she calls him) non stop, all that night and everytime we have hung out the past few weeks. Our good text convos have also gone "down" from before winter break (when she was all "flirty" and cuddling with me) ..
I ask her, over text, at that moment if she has a boyfriend. She replys "no. why?" and I say i have heard other wise. I say "so its not that guy from (insert school)?" and she replys with a "what?" and i just say "forget it." and thats the end of convo. Later I find she deleted her FB!
She wasnt at school because of a 2hr delay and she leaves early so she never comes to school on those days, thank god! because i think it would have been awk as hell b/c we sit next to each other....
Thoughts guys???? I think I just lost a friend.... The feeling sucks. I feel played and just angry. The whole night seemed wasted! ......
