no.. but I saw a dating show on tv where the guy did the exact same thing. He even used the term "Jesus Bomb"

I thought about this and I realized that he is doing the right thing for himself. If Christ is important to him then he shouldn't settle for anything less then what he wants. If women run 99% of the time when he "Drops the Bomb" then so be it.

It is important for every man regardless of their faith, if any, not to put up with women who do not support what you value.

I think this girl has realized that she doesn't want a man who doesn't share what she believes in. You have to give her credit for that at least. Most women are not like that.

I was talking to this HB7 on the airplane, pretty sweet chick and the convo was going alright ... but then she says "can I ask you a question ... do you beleive in Jesus Christ?" and then tried to make me affirm my allegiance to her denomination, I think it was some sort of Baptist ****e.

This Catholic don't dig that jazz.

Next time she does that, say something like;

"Hey, did you know that jesus eats babies? True story..." And see what happens.

See, I can say that because I go to church. It has its advantages. :D

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.

My point is that when you master the art of reframing, any reason not to do something becomes a reason to do it.

Here is what i wrote in that thread. My point is that guys hear "Jesus" and they just give up. Any objection can be overcome.

Tell her first of all that Jesus is about dispensing grace and forgiveness and not judgement. Jesus did not run around telling people that they were going to hell - that's what the Pharisees did, and they were his adversary, the ones who helped get him killed. We are supposed to be humble, not self-righteous and holier-than-thou.

Now, about the sex, this is my own interpretation of the Bible's message. I would tell her that "marriage" in ancient times in the desert meant taking a woman into your tent, feeding her, and protecting her from the elements. Divorce could mean death. Essentially, it was a monogamous commitment. There was no piece of paper from the king or the government. The Bible laughs at kings and governments. So tell her that our modern fixation upon a piece of paper from the government is a distortion of the Bible's message. If you love her and are committed to her, that should be enough.

It should not be that difficult to convince her. You can search the bible at http://bible.gospelcom.net/ to get a couple of verses to make whatever point to her that you choose.

Yep I've seen it happen. In general its not a good policy to discuss money, politics and religion with people because there is no right answers, they are personal choices and usually fighting instills if you go down that path.

I have no problem telling people this. If people still insist on forcing any of those 3 on me then I just stop talking, walk away, etc...
