Here I am.
Meet a new guy here.

I am pretty new to these forums. Though I have been reading some other forums and studied courses and articles for quite a while. I almost became a PUA. But then I said to myself: "wait a minute, I know all the greatest ways to pick up a girl, but I don't have any girls. There's gotta be something missing "
So I guess, it's time to practice and I actually have to go out and do stuff
But I did not have a plan. Then I found out accidentally about the bootcamp and decided to get through one.
I think it's really a blessing - thanks to the creators!!

So off I go
Wish me luck. No! Wish me to get tougher and get through this bootcamp to the end, luck or no luck!

Week 1 Day 1

I thought I could start Wednesday (today) and shorten the 1st week in 4.5 days as I thought it's going to be a breeze
Oh, well ...

I did not realize how bad my EC was up until today. But I started to improve it.

Though, to my surprise, I really had hard time having EC not because of me. But because ppl were very rarely wanted to keep EC!!
I almost could not find anybody at all! Most of the people looked down as soon as they noticed me looking them in the eyes, or they were just scanning and did not want to lock down EC with me. Maybe I was scary LOL

Note to myself: should work on my smile

It's still a habit to quickly gaze down but I force myself to look people in the eyes as often as I can for as long as I can.
And I can feel it's getting better

Hi's are not that great though.
Managed only 2 Hi's today
One thing is I feel FREAKY saying Hi to people and another thing is: they don't make EC, so I can't say Hi.

Hi count: 2

Note to myself: Have to work harder.
Maybe should go to a busy mall or something.

If you haven't already, read the DJ Bible.

Props for starting the BC. I hope that your BC doesn't go easy and it challenges your perceptions and especially your comfort limits.

The only way to explore those mental and emotional frontiers is to push past the boundaries that we ourselves place down.

Yeah, going to a mall or other busy store (like Walmart) will help with the BC Week 1 exercises.

Keep posting your BC progress - war stories and all.

Week 1 Day 2

Damn, that sucks
I am supposed to get more confident not less confident.
I got 2 more Hi's only, almost no EC.

Well, anyways, I went to the mall.
It's amazing, ppl just don't look at my eyes, they stare at the stores for some reason ...

And whoever does not - it's groups of people and they are chatting.

So I FEEL if I say Hi I would be invading their privacy and they would think I am a freak and it's not socially appropriate thing to do.

How do you get around that?

Got an idea

Ok, here's what I am going to do to feel less stupid.
I am going approach strangers and
say Hi
And then I can ask:
"Do you have the time?"
"Do you know how to get to ______?"

That makes sense that I said hi to them and I won't feel stupid.
