Off topic, what's discriminatory about preventing voter fraud? The system as it is now set up lends itself to fraud. In order to register to vote, all of have to do is fill out the voter registration card and (in a John Madden voice,) "Boom!" You get a card in the mail with your party registration and where your polling place is. What's to stop a person from filling out numerous voter registration cards for numerous addresses? The only thing there using to verify your address is an ID. Any ID. I once saw a chick use a Florida ID as proof of identity to vote in NYC, that should be allowed. If you can't get a SS card, a driver's license, a passport, or a birth certificate without proving who you are, then pray tell why should you be able to vote without proving who you are?

It's tough out there and there are stereotypes that do play true, but not every black person is out to rob or hurt you. It generally the really ignorant people that don't have good role models that commits acts of crime. They lack education and therefore can't even understand why they SHOULD act civil. Then they lack good role models because our society props up these entertainers who make violence and obscenity, acting like a fool seem cool and that's what you need to do to make it in their world.
