What's up guys, I've been steadily reading your articles and have been trying to incorporate them into my daily life. I guess I've hit a road block that kinda has been plaguing me all my life. I'm Asian and I look extremely young, I'm 21 now but I can probably pass for 16. Not too tall, about 5'6. Hit the gym, so I have a relatively slim but fit frame. Not so much going on in the facial hair department, I can't grow too much of it.

We all know the importance of first impressions, it can make or break you. I've never really hard a problem with confidence as girls always tell me I'm hella cute, adorable, that I have a fantastic smile etc. and although I know it's because I look young, it's better then being unattractive.

My question is, how do I take my youthful looks and transform them from someone who is cute but non-threatening to someone who is attractive and a little dangerous. I do a lot of the ****y+funny, but I guess I don't come across aggressively enough or with enough sexual innuendo. I also feel a lot more comfortable being c+f with girls a couple years younger than me because I don't feel a tremendous age gap, but with people my age, 21 and up, I feel a little self conscious because it doesn't look like I belong.

I'm willing to work at it, would be a shame to let all those compliments and attention go to waste. What are some ways to escalate or quickly close when people compliment me on being cute. What are some other ways I could make myself look older and more mature, because mentally I am, it's just physically I don't seem to be. Advice appreciated, thanks!

Try dressing a little older than the crowd your with. That might help a bit. Stay in the gym and get buffed out as well. Little boys ain't buff. Do vocal exercises to get more bass in your voice. Just some off the cuff ideas.

I have the same problem. I am 26 but I can pass for 16-17. It's my deep voice that throws people off. I just have one of those perennially youthful faces (although I can grow a beard and I'm starting to lose my hair a little). Ironically, I attract more women who are older than me than those who are younger. I think the key is to get buff like someone here said. That's what I did in college when I was fed up with getting rejected by girls at frat parties. A fit, muscular body allows women to see the whole package rather than just how young your face looks. Also, its helpful to remind yourself that it's better to look young and innocent rather than old and scary.

yeah im 26, and I look 20 on a good day. it helped a huge deal to workout like others have said. not only your body, but putting on the muscle makes your face looks more manly. other than that posture and voice tone are big ones.

Thanks for the tips on how to present myself as older, I'll keep hitting the gym hard and work on my voice tone. What about once I initiate and start talking to people, how do I change the perception that I'm just an innocent nice guy into the perception that looks can be deceiving and I'm aggressive and adventurous.

How are you working out? I too am on the slim side, but I've recently started working out the right way.

In order to get big, I think that diet is even more important than working out. You have to take in more calories than you burn. So make sure to significantly increase your caloric intake (weight gainer or protein shakes can help with this).

Also, leave adequate time for your muscle groups to regenerate. Remember, you get big not in the gym, but while at rest. In the gym you break down muscle fibers and you get muscle hypertrophy when your body rebuilds them.

Also, make sure you do heavy weights and fewer reps if you want to build bulk. You should be doing 4-6 reps a set. You should be doing mostly free weights. Free weights are far superior to machines for most exercises.

Keeping these simple ideas in mind, I've gained about 2 lbs a week for the past 3 weeks.

Haha yea, I got the basics down of working out, free weights, low reps high weight and rest. I use cytogainer which is a whey weight gainer. I don't really diet as I'm Asian and have a crazy metabolism, I just try to eat a lot and consume plenty of protein and calories.

Any more tips for me?

I have a crazy fast metabolism too. Believe me, I know. When I was in high school, I used to wrestle at 112 lbs as a senior. And I didn't even have to cut most of the times. I ended up doing quite well in wrestling because almost everyone in my weight class was a freshman.

Us hard gainers just have to eat like there's no tomorrow. Most people would kill to be in our predicament.

So try to eat more meals in a day. I try to eat 5. And always eat until you're full. I eat until I'm full and then some. Of course, I try to eat mostly nutritious healthy food, but just in large quantities. Try to never be on an empty stomach.

You just have to shock your body into growth.

For some people, these ideas are bad. But not for hard gainers. I could sit on my ass for months and do absolutely no physical activity and yet gain zero weight. The only way I can pack on a significant amount of weight is to stuff myself.

ForeverYoung : Did you say how old you were? I was in a similar situation as you. I was always told I was cute, but I was a "baby." I am 26 now. I was called that until i was 24 or so. Then basically....BAM. That "Baby" look turned to be cute, and it is to my advantage. The guys who looked older a few years ago are now the ones who gained too much weight, are balding, have weird facial hair etc.... and have to fight for attention.

Keep up the confidence man. I was as skinny as a twig, but 10hrs/week in the weight room for the last 6 months has given me some beef to help me out and is helping with the attention.

Just be yourself, have a good time and let the girls work for you. If you are cool, calm, friendly and confident and give it time, you will get girls. Trust me.

No matter how u look, u should be confident about urself. It gives u an innocent look. So that babby-look gives u licence to be more aggresive.
