I would not see Nashville as a city with that many "Chads" or alpha males. The place is cringey and full of losers that think tatts and trying to make a career happen as a musician after you haven't made it big at 30 is being "cool". What I dislike about most southern cities is just how two-faced and paralleled their culture is which is why I stay away from the Bible Belt.
Take Atlanta for instance, on one hand you have hip hop, the hipsters of Midtown, the frat party post college, and the strip clubs. Then on the other hand you have the Jesus Act that people put on for everyone. The "Good Christian" that goes to church every Sunday.
You cannot even game in peace because everyone is ready to go from ratchet club rat to "Jesus Girl" on the drop of a dime. I doubt these people have read the entire Bible either.
It is one of the things I absolutely despise about The South. People in the region are just not very honest or real. You get a lot of fake Goody Two Shoe types and it floods into the cities too.
Southern Guys are also quite creepy. Like these dudes will play Nice Gentleman in front of girls but will take advantage of a passed out chick or do something creepy fast. If not that, they are brash and very confrontational because they don't get laid and if they do, they know they have to rely on Good Ole Boy Bubba Status to do it.
It just ruins the freaking vibe of the cities in the Bible Belt. Everyone is downright fake as they come.
At least in the Northeast, Miami, and even in California, people are more up front about their desires. Down South, it is all masked with the Fake Jesus Act.
