The homosexual sh1t is going a little overboard, I mean EVERYONE is becoming gay or lesbian and it's ****ing annoying.

This is how bad it's gotten and I'm NOT lying...

I was working out when some guy came up to me to ask for my email to get tips on what he should do to workout better and what not...since I am learning to become a PT I gave it to him.

I get a fvcking email from the guy saying he thought I was cute and wanted to give me GOOD head and wanted me to come .....

Now I dont care for gays but this **** is going to far...soon it's going to be MANDITORY to all guys turn gay and all women get to pick either girls or a guy they want to change.

She something stupid and as a result, she didn't win. It's great that she said what she thought though.

You understand her role is public and that the public includes gays and lesbian right?

There is no free speech anymore, unless it fits the pro feminist and homosexual mold. If you state a belief that doesn't fit the mold, you'll pay in opportunties and economically. If only people who hold and expouse pro-feminist and pro-homosexual or whatever beliefs are allowed to obtain a positions of power and influence, what does that tell you?

Was she imprisoned for what she said? She said what she thought on national tv. People will agree or disagree but it sounds like a lot of people didn't agree with her at the show.

Free speech is not a guarantee that you will not pay in opportunities and economically. In fact, chances are very good that you will pay for expressing controversial views. I thought it was this acceptance of consequences that marked a Don Juan from lesser men.

Also, has not the US been pluralistic society? Telling a minority portion of your population that they're not entitled to freedoms that everybody else shares seems non-pluralistic to me.

Despicable

You guys are f-ing retarded. No wonder you all have zero social skills. Who gives an f what gays do or gay culture. No one is forcing you to be gay. No one is forcing you to do anything differently than 10 years ago. The existence and prominence of gays should have NO EFFECT on your life.

Gay and culture are NOT oxymorons. Without gays we wouldnt have Oscar Wilde(one of the most brilliant and witty writers ever), the writers of LOST, David Bowie, Mick Jagger(bi), the man who made sure the Beatles got huge(Brian Epstein), Iggy Pop(bi), lead singer of REM, Tchaikovsky, the great American poet Walt Whitman, the guy who masterfully played gandalf in lotr; plus dozens of others in the arts who dedicate their lives to creating great things for the enjoyment of others.

I'm truely glad roughly 10% of guys are gay, more ***** for me! I have never felt for one second in my life that gay anything has hindered myself living my life as a 100% straight male. I have gay friends and they are chill as ****-really cool men and women who deserve respect. Sexuality isn't a choice, attraction isn't a choice. i think someone on sosuave would have understood that by now. Haven't you read POOK you dumbasses? ATTRACTION IS NOT A CHOICE.

Men and women's brains are shaped differently. Gay men have the same shaped brains as women. That's simple science you fools. All the money in the world couldn't make me go gay. Why would someone choose to have sexual relations with people they're not attracted to? Especially when they receive the ire of inbreds like yourselves. Homosexuals are a legitimate reality within human sexuality; they always have been, and they always will be.

In truth I can tell you are sad people. You will forever experience bitterness and upset in your lives if you dont wake the f up and realize the only person keeping you from happiness and peace in your life is yourself-not gays, not feminists(who im not saying i like, i do not), not the pc police. I hate the pc society too but you guys are f-in ignorant. "You are a victim of such and such." That is exactly what society sells you, that's the conspiracy, leading you to believe other people have great control over your lives. And while you believe this you'll forever be the pitiful people you have revealed yourselves to be. I respect the complaint that that broad in the pageant should be able to speak her mind but your views on gays are disgusting. Get a life.

All this serves as a warning to all the sane people on here: if you follow the advice from the majority of the morons on this website then you're only setting yourself up for failure.

Not one person on this thread was gaybashing, dude. Why dont you learn how to read? Its attitudes like YOURS, that we're pissed about, not gayness.

It shouldn't, but when they become a "movement," then it often does. I was in a religious club in law school. We were small, and quiet, and never refused or harassed anyone in any way. But the lesbian club complained to our very gay-friendly school that our mere existence harassed them, and the school agreed. They said that the religious club had to say "gay is ok" or else they could not be a school club any more.

So we flew in a team of lawyers from Washington DC and sued. The school is a state university, and spent a lot of taxpayer dollars to defend themselves. They racked up a big legal bill for themselves...and lost. They also had to pay our legal fees. The final court opinion was written by a very famous judge and is now used as precedent to keep gay rights activists from kicking religious clubs out of public schools and universities.

I was fine with gay people when they just wanted to be left alone. But now they want to force everyone to agree with them, and it's ridiculous. I don't think there's hardly any oppression of gays left in this country. If so, they just move to the city. If gay people want to be activists so badly, let them go fight the Taliban, the Iranians, and all of the other powers that be who are still executing people for simply being gay. That is oppression.

First of all you're taking POOK out of context to fit your purpose. Attraction not being a choice is not the equivalent of homosexuals "choosing" to be gay.

Then perhaps you have a scientific study you could cite the basis of your emphatic opinion from? I'm unaware of any brain shape differences that predispose a person to homosexuality. And even if there were a study how would that account for homosexual females with female brains? How would brain shape affect endocrinology? Are bisexual's brains at some middle stage that predisposes them to being aroused by both sexes? What about hermaphroditic people born into having the biological capacity for either sex but chose the gender they wish to be?

It's a nature vs. nurture issue. The problem with even attempting to define it into a genetic vs. behavioral answer is further complicated by the people trying to define it. Just by even asking the question "Is homosexuality a choice or a genetic predisposition?" casts the one asking into one camp or another. You're either a 'homophobe' or you're an immoral hedonist by choice. Both sides are equally polarized, equally binary and equally mislead because they aren't encouraged to look for answers, and when they do, the bias of their motivations for doing so become suspect.

So with that in mind, here is the Rollo Tomassi take on homosexuality: Until such time as biologists can empirically prove a 'gay gene' (or genetic combinations that predispose a person to homosexuality), I believe the root of homosexual sexual expression is behavioral. Notice I didn't say a conscious choice. Human beings have a biological need for sexual expression: masturbation is usually the first, then we move on to more complex socio-sexual behaviors. In short, we like to get off. It feels good, it's a stress relief and orgasm (plus the resulting endorphin release) has health benefits.

Sexual behaviors and patterns become progressively associated with environmental prompts, situational stimuli, as well as a multitude of reward/reinforcers and punishments depending upon the social acceptability or unacceptability of the that sexual behavior. That's not to say there isn't a biological aspect to this; when I see a semi-nude woman (conditioned stimuli) I get a hard-on (unconditioned response). My body reacts in preparation for sexual behavior by flushing my system with a ****tail of hormones that increases my heart rate, heightens my senses and gives me an erection. However it's the associations, and prior rewards or punishments, that prompt the biological response. For instance, why do I get turned on by a naked Jessica Alba (physical arousal), but disgusted (physical revulsion) when I see a maggot filled animal carcass?

When I hear homosexuals tell me "I can't help being gay", I believe them. Through any set of circumstances their sexual expression has been reinforced to the point where it has become normal for them - they literally can't help but be gay, because that's what prompts sexual response for them. They also, literally, do not make a choice to be gay; their sexual response was brought about from circumstances that rewarded and reinforced (or more so than from what wasn't) that behavior. The obvious criticism is that for the most part homosexuality is viewed as a deviant or perverted sexual expression and is discouraged. However it's exactly this taboo that makes the sexual expression a reward.

As I stated above, sexual release is a biological need. Heterosexual men entering a male only prison population, can and do engage in homosexuality and then resume heterosexual behavior upon their reintroduction to society. Are they gay or were they simply resorting to the only sexual expression they had available to them in their given environment?

What about bi-sexuality? Do bisexuals have only half the genetic material to make them half-gay or has their sexual conditioning been such that they're aroused by both genders?

There are some people born with both male and female sexual plumbing, what gender should they pursue in life? Is this their choice when you consider it's their parents who decide to raise the child as a boy or a girl?

Is gender itself biological or behavioral? This is an issue that Feminism struggles with to this day. Their unresolved paradox is this: If gender is primarily a learned set of behaviors then the issue of being oppressed by design is valid, but homosexuality as a genetic cause is invalid (or certainly less valid). If this is so then women's own biology, and the degree to which their innate hormonal differences play (estrogen, oxytocin) and the behavior manifested due to them, in molding their gender must also be taken into consideration. You can't have it both ways. If you're gay by biology, then you're also a woman by biology. If you're a woman by socialization (learned behavior) then you are also gay by socialization.

The problem with asking questions like this now becomes one of polarization. Neither homosexuals nor moralists really want a definitive answer as to whether homosexuality is genetic. The longer it goes unanswered, the longer each has to effect their own agenda. If homosexuality is proven not to be genetic, then homosexuals as an oppressed underclass lose in their bid to make their status a civil rights issue. If it is proven to be genetic, then moralists are forced to reevaluate not only their position on homosexuality, but also their concept of predestination and personal accountability. So it's really not in the interests of either faction to look for real answers. The longer we all remain in limbo the longer they have to try to change minds.

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

I have no problem with gays and lesbians doing what they want to do with each other - they can do whatever they want, its their right.

However, to PUNISH someone for having an OPINION that does not fit the homo-movement is beyond ridiculous!!! (this woman's punishment was that her opinion cost her the Ms USA crown - the judge even said so).

This is basically turned into a way for the media to control people - media says that people had better think like the media wants them to think, or else they will be punished!!

it's sickening, and unconstitutional actually.

the homos feel more entitled than even the hb10's who want AFCs to buy the cars - homo's have done NOTHING to earn this entitlement, and now people are not allowed to have opinions against homosexuality.

Thanks for this DEEP. I may be inclined to change my mind about a few things in light of new information. However, the similarities between brain shapes still doesn't empirically suggest a genetic basis for homosexuality. I'm also aware of the infamous hypothalmus studies too, but as was stated in that study, brain similarities cannot determine cause or effect. It's entirely possible that brain shape and neuosynaptic functions are the result of environmental stimulus and adapting to it. For instance, when a person learns to play piano they progressively create new neural pathways. This is a fundament of learning. Similarly, traumatic experiences, and memory can alter brain function. Post traumatic stress disorder and Alzheimer's are 2 examples.

A new born child's brain is notably smooth after birth, but acquires shape and synaptic function as the child matures. This is why the formative years of a child's life (the first 5) are so crucial. As that child learns and is better able to understand abstract concepts, it forges new neural pathways and shapes the brain in response to it's learning. So it's entirely possible that a homosexual's brain shape is the result of it's learning rather than a genetic indicator of homosexuality. I should also add that this still doesn't account for a genetic basis of bisexuality or biologically transgender people.

Yeah, it's beyond ridiculous. It's sickening. And by the way I really like that girl for putting higher priority on telling the truth than winning the beauty contest. My kind of girl....

Indeed, 10% of people being gay does seem extremely high. In all my life I've only known one gay person. No one from any of my classes at school or my uni course is gay. Granted, gay people might have different interests than me, and many may still be in the closet, so I'd be extremely unlikely to come across them, but I'm still firmly of the opinion that 1/10 people being gay is false.
