Oh wow, who brought this one back from the dead.
Back from the dead, but still relevant. Saw a photo from this weekend of one of my feminist friends out on the town on facebook. Her eyebrows are outta control. I'd hate men too if I subjected myself to that kind of ridicule :nono:

It's the media that has men convinced that hairless is beautiful. I am old enough to remember when porn stars used to have hairy, bushy snatches so hair must have been considered beautiful once.
I think it's more like, the media has shed light on a more attractive grooming method and it has caught on. Back in the day when they were all hairy, that was considered as good as it gets. It's all relative.

Not really. In these mags there used to be a section called 'shaven ravers'. I remember at the time it looking weird and slightly wrong. Now I wouldn't have it any other way.

I say bring back the bush.

But shave everywhere else lol.
The bush can be forgiven if trimmed properly. Feminists generally are against shaving everything else as "upkeep" tho. There is nothing attractive about leg/armpit hair. They won't have a choice but to continue hating men until they decide to change.

Men frequently err by talking too much. They often monopolize conversations, droning on and on about topics that bore women to tears. They think they're impressing the women when, in reality, they're depressing the women.

Yeah well people are resistant to change. Are you suggesting if magazines started promoting bushes again you'd revert back? I can gaurantee you I sure as hell wouldn't.

Yes I am. And you probably would if that was all the media were presenting.

Your candor about the media brain washing you is admirable (not being sarcastic, it is). I on the other hand am more rebellious when it comes to media influence. If something is advertised as "cool" I tend to be very critical of it. I will intentionally dislike it or not do it out of defiance unless I really do like it. The fact that shaved is the popular thing and I like it is more of a coincidence than anything else.
