What if all your life you have been living a lie, every opinion you have is not your own, every principle, every idea, every image, every goal, everything. Nothing your own.

Remove the 'What if'.

This is the reality most of you live. The same person within you resides in the person next to you. Different shells, but the same person. You are a copy of an imitation.

Recount your life. Every event. Let it flow through your mind. Every choice and every move. Every image and every sound.

What do you want? That is at heart the essence of everything in life. We are truly selfish. Everything we ever do is beneficial to ourselves. You don't give money to the poor to help the poor. You give it to feel good inside. To feel better about yourself. That is what you want.

Did you just accept what I said? Tsk. Even now, I try to teach you a lesson and you do not apply. I am not taking time to make this for you to think about it in a few days. It begins right here right now. Buckle up.

There are few things I will ever stand up for. I will not stand up for that guy getting beat 3 on 1 because he needs help. I will stand up because when I see that I feel this burning rage within me. I do not believe in what is happening before me. I feel a change in me. An outcry. THIS IS WRONG. I'm not going to stand and watch this. This act is dishonorable.

I felt it. I felt that ANGER. That urge, that supreme belief, that what is happening is not in accordance with who I am. Who I am does not tolerate such acts.

Is war good? The comon answer is no. We've been taught that war is bad. People dieing is bad. When someone tells me that war is bad, I feel that burning fire within me. I believe in war. I will stand up for it. I have thought about this. War brings change, evolution. People die, but what does that matter? The act of war is nothing to be surprised about. You have rights. Those rights are not free. To preserve those rights, you need to fight for them. Logical. This is my reasoning.

When you came to this site, you had a small fire gasping for oxygen to grow. You wanted to change. You read posts and they lit your fire. You FELT it. Yes, we all felt it. The burning rage. The will to go for what we want. Our fire grew and we fought for our fire. Our cause. You will defend your journey because it was lit by your fire. You believe in it. You felt.

Now my question is, why do you stand up for anything that doesn't light your fire? Tough one. Because you believe in it? Bullsh*t. The only thing you believe in is what lights your fire.

Are you accepting this? I hope not. You best be critisizing everything in this post. How do you feel about what I'm saying?

Speaking of which, what posts motivate you? Yes, many are nicely written and seem great but hell... they don't do anything. The only ones that got me going are the ones that lit my fire. Where I felt the truth in the post. I felt it!.

What you feel is something that can't be taken away from you. They took away your ability to think. They made it look like you had your own thoughts. They told you that you were unique but here you are watching the same crap everyone else is and wearing the same crap everyone else is. You aren't unique at all. You are 'equal'. You are just like the person next to you. I don't know about you, but back in the day, that lit my fire. I didn't want to be like everyone else.

Redefine yourself. That's a ****ing order. When people ask your opinion, you wonder how you feel. You don't wonder what you think anymore. You are no longer a slave of your former teachings. It's all about what you want. Now maybe you don't want any of this. Maybe you are content living your mediocre life, believing in **** that's been force fed down your unshutting mouth. Maybe that's your idea of living. I feel that is the most pathetic thing I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. Living my life looking at girls or whatever obsession as utopia and constantly fantasizing about the said object is PATHETIC. I don't day dream. I day think. Red lights? Isn't there a better way to organise traffic? Life.... Isn't there a better way to live life? Yeah, I'm looking to improve. And nothing but improvement from here on out.

Everybody has a story to tell. I've already heard yours. Are you not sick and tired of living the same life as the guy next to you? Walking the same path as everyone else.... that wasn't for me. Is it for you? Do you feel that burning desire to be like everyone else? No?! Then why.. WHY do you continue to do so?

There is a life out there worth living. A life where you are not trapped in your shell working so hard to keep an image imposed on you (god forbid you have your own ideas and step out of line). A life where your sole purpose is not girls. Is not jacking off. Is not getting drunk or getting high. A life where you have a burning desire to constantly achieve and over achieve your goals. A life where you have a sense of purpose. Where something is yours. Your purpose is unique to YOU. Your thoughts, others may share but you came to the conclusions by yourself. You have your own thought process and feelings on things that you don't keep bottled up. You don't hide your opinions. You do not hide your beliefs. If everyone is in a room laughing at a kid who tripped, I am not going to laugh because I don't find it funny. I am not going to laugh to fit in. That is not my goal. My goal is the contrary. I am not going to forsake who I am FOR WHO THEY WANT ME TO BE.

I can not force the issue. One day you may break free. It won't be because of me. I'm simply showing you a door. The chances of you walking through it are slim to none. I'd like you to have your own ideas and be your own person instead of the ****ing hypocrite you are. I see through you, so do others. I live my life happily but you are consumed by the darkness.

I suppose I had the balls to make the right choice. I hope you think out your second chance a bit better than the first.

Awesome post man.

People give money to the poor so they look charitable. They know inside that it wont help them, they will just waste the money. Would they make friends with this poor person? Would they spend their afternoon with this poor person? Would they walk through the shopping mall with this poor person? Probably not, and it's the people that do who really inspire me.

You have 3 choices.

1. Do as Lik says and step out of line.

2. Think you will do what he says 'one day' and until then live a life of low standards where you are constantly upset and depressed.

3. Live a life of mediocrity and be content.

I chose 1. Whatever you do, don't choose number 2.

Once again man, awesome post.

every time I see a post like this, an opinionated man elaborating on the mediocrity of the average fad-following American teenager, I sprout another pubic hair.

I'm totally independent of fads and DAMN PROUD OF IT. nobody in my school dresses like I do. nobody in my school does his hair like I do. nobody in my school thinks the way I do.

I'm on the outside of this downward spiral, feeling sorry for the 99% of people who are average and dependent.

They all think they're getting what they want, and they're so ignorant about it...makes me wanna cry.

If you think about it, it's always been like this...but I'm sick and tired of mediocre.

Thanks for your post; that was my two cents.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.

Must I really answer?

I've been trying all week to get people thinking but it's just not working.... Yesterday, no one was able to define good and bad for me. Is it simply because they are 'too lazy' to think or simply too dumb?

The latter, always the latter :p

Mediocrity is for the weak. Getting by is for losers.

I made a post on that poem awhile ago but it was just lost in the mindless does she like me threads but...

This was an excellent thread.

There are many good threads but the threads that light my fire mostly come in the form of PM's. These come from other DJ's that give me tips on what to do with my life (journal).

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
