Noob here, advice asking a girl out please.

hi, so there is this girl im interested, same workplace, she is just there temporaly, but there is no chance of us ever seeing each other or talk, so last week i said **** it and walked to her as she was leaving and said hi, introduced myself and ask for her name.

so obviously she asked why?, i just told her i had seen her several times and wanted to know her name and smiled at her, she smiled back and told me her name, there was a guy next to her that was walking with her and didnt wanted to leave (i do now and im certain it wasnt her boyfriend, but i dont not yet if she has one) so i felt uncomfortable and let everything in that and say thanks see you around and pretended i had some work to do.

i did try paying attention to her body lenguage and at least i could tell she didnt felt bothered or wanted to avoid eye contact.

now the thing is, i dont know whats next (i do guess man up and just ask her out) but havent been able to make eye contact since we like work i separate areas so i ignore if she is at least slightly interested.

1.- wait for her when she arrives at work
2.- when she leaves (but i do have to follow her from behind if i try to aproach like that)

i only have like 1 or 2 weeks to make this move before she leaves.

Stop overthinking it, grow a pair of balls, and ask her out. Who gives a **** if you get rejected? The more you get rejected, the more rejection you can handle in the future. Also, think of it this way: You should be thankful if she rejects you because she is basically telling you not to waste your time on her.
