Studies show that drinking the a limited amount of alcohol reduces heart problems.

As for getting drunk, when I'm drunk I still act the same aside from being tipsy. It is an expensive pointless hobby sure, but hey...whatever floats our boat.

shyt i like nice glass of cognac or some wine. as lond as you know your limits your all good i think. its good to be lil tipsy while in the club, or concert, i dont smoke bud so when i go to a concert i ussualy snick in a bottle of something to sip on. and yes drinkin can elevate your game to a whole new level. as long as you know how to drink, cause most of the fukers dont have a clue.

I DO drink, but I don't smoke pot (which can put me in some of the same social situations).

You don't have to explain to anyone why you do what you do. Or choose not to do. However, don't make them feel uncomfortable by giving them a real downer of an excuse (e.g. my buddy got drunk and died, or alcoholism has killed all of my relatives).

Just say "its not my thing." That's enough for most people. The average person doesn't even really care if you're drinking or not.
